DSP's Loan & Savings Company

Wait, so Phil has a '600 sub goal' counter posted for the month of April? What's the goal? I thought he totally wasn't going to post a goal because he needs to direct as much money as possible to tips for his taxes because sub money won't arrive in time to help? But he totally needs to hold a begathon and a birthday celebration stream to even begin to make a dent in his tax 'situation'. . .right before he takes a weeks vacation that 'it was my parent's idea to pay me to come see them'.

Even if he doesn't have the E7 money he still made $12K worth of room in his credit card debt with it ("it all went to bills! Basic fucking bills you idiot! I don't have any of that money!!!"), he already had all the money (or 'room' on his credit cards) he needed to pay his 2018 Federal Taxes in full and his parents already footed the rest to get Phil to fly out and see them. He's just going with the 'payment plan' lie because it sets up the narrative for his next tax begging lie where he's 'really, really, really going to get my house taken away', because he will cite the payment plan as why he couldn't possibly have made his 2019 Quarterly Estimated payments and now owes another $16K in full, all at once because the IRS won't put you on 2 concurrent payment plans. He will say, "It's naht my fault! YouTube fucked me again this year, just like they did last year, by not tripling my Q4 CPM."

He keeps ranting about how he depends on that increased YouTube Q4 CPM just to 'get by', well guess what Phil? Some fucking idiot paid you $12K extra in December which should have 100% made up for that and everyone saw it you fat fucking liar. Get fucked, your narrative makes zero sense and you've been lying about this situation since you started squealing about it in like late Sept/early Oct 2018 because at that time you still fully expected your Q4 YouTube income in November & December to pay for all this shit and someone actually gave you a comparable amount of money in that same timespan! You told us weeks ago what the amount you already had paid your 'Tax Guy' to prepare your 2018 Federal Income taxes because you've already paid them in full!
Viewers choice full play through IIRC. Paytreons get “priority nominations” in appreciation of their support. Yeah it’s a lot of effort, like he said he has to set up a straw poll and everything....

Edit: You’re not wrong about what he should have done, and that he was financially able to afford/save for his taxes; I would argue that instead of creating a 12k hole in his CC debt though, which he could ostensibly use to pay his taxes, I would literally bet $100 that he spent almost all of it/and or has already filled that hole with consumerist useless shit, nice food, and eating out. He either lacks the ability to make anything resembling sound financial decisions, believes that his viewers and parents will bail him out, or thinks that he just needs to hang on until a HELOC or refinance will absorb his revolver debt. Probably a mixture of all three. And I especially am looking foreward to the HELOC because it will come right at the top of the market and interest rate and will finally add some juice back into this shitty show

I just thought of something.

Phil said his credit card payments doubled in 2018 because he interest rates or whatever went way up.

Phil put his 2017 taxes on his credit cards because he didn't have the cash to pay them.

How much more money do you think Phil is paying in credit card interest vs if he just went on a payment plan for the taxes last year? Phil claimed he was paying $1000 a month more for his credit cards. Didn't he say a payment plan was approximately $300 a month?

Is it possible Phil is throwing away $600 a month on credit card bills because he refused to go on a payment plan in 2018?

Hoky fuck, I hope these are going to be charged back.

Given who they are coming from, don't hold your breath. Don't know who Henk_Douma is, but planetjeff and superblindman are hardcore fanboys who are blind (one of them literally) to what a toxic man-baby Phil is.

I like that for the rest of April or until DSP disables it people opening his tip link will see that he has already made about $1K just from his top 10 tippers. Several people on that list are regular tippers so that number will just increase. That'll make people feel bad for him and tip for sure.

Good thing he reads Kiwi Farms every day so he can read this and disable the feature in fear of it scaring away future tippers.

Some very early morning off the back of the envelope calculations but let’s try to give a guesstimate of how much was made after fees for dark.
$930 from the top 10 cucks we’ll call it in 14 donations (too overestimate fees) to get that $930 from the top 10. Total tips were a few cents shy of $1,320 so we’ll round that nice and even. That gives us a remainder of $390 from the non whale level cucks now let’s say that was over 186 (way overshooting) donations for an average of aprox. $2 per for the non whales. Now we have 200 estimated transactions, at $.30 per transaction for PayPal fees that’d be $60 (once again being very generous). Now that leaves us with the 3% gross fee of $1,320 for $39.60 subtracting that we get $1,280.40, now taking away the $60 in trans. Fees and we’re down to $1,220.40 so we’ll just call it dark made a guesstimate of $1,220 for the “marathon tax smashing session”.

Edit to add feel free to correct me but I’m pretty sure I’m in the ballpark but I’ll defer to @actually acktual tally.

Is his Patreon even relevant anymore? He hasn't been advertising it and as far as I'm aware, he removed any perks that don't have to do with having access to "premium" voting when it comes to games selection.

Seems like Dave is banking the majority of his revenue to come from Twitch these days.

Can't argue against that. You are right. It just shouldn't be irrelevant. But here we have Phil, being too lazy and stubborn to do something for basically free money. Time again he exploited this system. Played games they wanted (was paid to do it) and still begged for money or aborted the games entirely. Patreon might be free money, but he is not in 100% control, Führer Burnell can't have that.
Youtube on the other hand is attached to no demands. It's just an archive and irrelevant as long as it makes him money; as long as it pleases him.

Don't forget his exploitation and misuse of Patreon 'stretch goals'. Toward the end of posting them he let the cat out of the bag explaining that his use of the term 'stretch goal' meant that the Entire amount needed to be raised in that month and if it was not..well that money was just extra for him to use as he pleased+. It was, after all, Impossible for him to set that money aside and let it accumulate. For that matter, he often met a $1250 goal and went on to spend only a fraction of the money on fulfilling said goal++ ... if he fulfilled it at all.
+ When asked why after months and months of raising extra, he still had not bought the camera an lens the stretch goal was for.

++ He reported using $200 of the $1250 donated on his 'soundproofing foam'. The rest of that money.....pure gravy.

This trip to see his parents is suspiciously close to his tax deadline given we’ve heard on numerous occasions that Phil can’t take time away from streaming for Leanna’s brothers wedding, or New Years, etc.

What odds would you give me that Phil’s folks bail him out and lend/gift him money while he’s out there and he claims he’s just able to scrape through this emergency.

He gets money for his birthday and they’ve already spaffed money on flying him and Kat out there on the apparent premise of ‘want to meet her and hang out’ - I’d happily bet my house in a gated community they bail him out.

Fucking called it.

So, what I'm reading from the 'Sunday Explain All My Lies Post-Game' thread is that Phil's parents are financially savvy enough to have extracted a promise from their money-pit of a son to not roll all his unsecured credit card debt into his secured Wakando debt by taking out a home equity loan against the increased value of his condo during the housing market bubble in his area.
I'm not entirely clear on this, but my guess is Phil interpreted this as meaning he should just miss payments to the point of defaulting on his ConDough home loan and all his credit card debt.
The home equity loan hail mary 'solve all my financial problems' plan appears to be off.

I, for one, think it was more selfish shortsightedness on his parents part to try to talk him into getting a job (LMFBAO at Phil referring to this as a """2nd job"""), just like when they didn't listen to Phil about buying the Wolverine toy. Do they want to kill him!?!? Phil already works his ASS OFF! Why couldn't they ask Katherine to get a 2nd job? She's 10 years younger, and in great shape from going to The Jim all the time. She clearly has tons of free-time to just screw around playing video games, hell she finishes games before Phil (and he plays video games for a living!) so clearly she has enough time to work another job. They're married now so she should start pulling her weight financially in the relationship. Phil already has NO FREE TIME from how hard he works, so if she's serious about being his SoulMatrimonyMaid she needs to step-up and work just as hard as Phil does. It's just stoopid dood.

So payment after payment after payment Phil has decided the next best move is to cut the umbilical cord the bank has hooked onto him...

The only thing I'd agree with about that is if the place has been vacant the whole time except for the mold that has made itself at home.

And after telling us how much his parents mean to him he's still in no financial position to ever visit them again when you simply add up the hotel, travel, and dining expenses.

This whole thing has just been one huge botch - I'm happy he's sleeping well as a newly wed but he's beyond screwed if he thinks his creditors are going to give him a break for more than a couple months.
