Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

If the first four people are guessing are sued here’s how I see it.

Marchi and Funimation settle. Marchi seems to have wised up and stopped talking about kickvic since things have gotten more serious. Funimation will settle to keep more damaging things from getting out and to save money.

Soye will go down with the ship. He seems to think there’s a parade of women ready to condemn Vic on the stand in a trial.

Rial will just no show because she’s worthless and nothing to go after. She’ll stop talking about Vic though.
I doubt Ty would allow a settlement unless it means Vic get's his career back AND helps fix his rep. Unlikely to happens as rep is destroyed and only during the court where he's found Innocent can he repair it at all.
Marchi wouldn't (again) because she was one of the main contributor, and helps destroy the credibility of everyone else because they all liked each other tweet so her stating 'I wan Vic to die' isn't going to 'age well' for anyone there.
Soy, yeah he'll burn to death instantly.
Rial, she's in a better spot then Marchi but with the tortuous interference I doubt she'll be left out of it, considering she tried to prevent KC to take Vic back and supposedly knows many Con owners so ie corruption too (if they wanted to go that far).

All in all, i can't see a settlement.

For Marchi, if they can prove civil conspiracy, her "I want his head, I want his balls, I want him to suffer" tweet is going to bite them in ass something fierce. It's a clear show of malice, and if conspiracy is proven her malice is everyone else's malice.

I think after she got her initial letters she got a lawyer and actually listened to said lawyer, but not before screaming she won't redact anything.

I'm not so sure. This is a pisspoor case, Vic makes money, he just proved that, and they'd be fools to toss out the golden goose for this inane bullshit.

This is gonna be Gawker 2.0 if you ask me.
I'm open to the possibility that I'm wrong but as I see it, if Funi was going to make sound decisions, the witch hunt 'investigation' wouldn't have happened and they would have reined in the dipshits on day 1.

As for the three stooges, they are all in on rape culture, the patriarchy and muh feminism. To lose to or worse, 'settle' with a MAN? A straight white CHRISTIAN man? That doesn't merely embarass them. It guts them at the core belief level.

Collectively, these idiots are in it all together. There isn't a brain to think with and far too much pride and wokeness to admit defeat or willingly surrender. They will lose, then use the loss to scream for years with, fundraise etc...which will incur more lawsuits, rinse and repeat.

Final notes from El Paso:

The RWBY group had barely anyone show to their lines for all three days. The people with the largest lines were Jason David Frank (the original green power ranger) and Vickie Gurerro (mostly because Eddie was from El Paso and still has a VERY strong foothold on the culture of lucha here).

I also ran into a TUG cosplayer...

Motherfucker, this is a weird event in a weird world, but if it gets so weird that the fucking SPLC is funding a lawsuit on behalf of a tiny branch of Sony which releases Laotian cartoons on DVD, I will throw myself off a bridge.

They funded black lives matter. Why not a feminazi group out to slay the christian white male patriarchial dragon?

Got a nice music for today, just remember they had it coming

In two minutes of typing this sentence, the time will now be 11:00 PM EST.

Let's change that ambiance.

Sure. Many of these guys spent their entire lives watching hentai where huge tits and a big ass are where it's at. Add to that the following:

Beauty is relative so if someone can look at a stylized cartoon/hand drawn anime girl, with huge eyes, a microscopic nose and other highly 'not actually human" features, and consider it to be "hot" in an "I'd really smash that if it was a real thing" way, then it's not really a stretch to start making tradeoffs like "Well she's got the T&A but she has dudeface so which do I prefer?"

Besides...in a real world containing furries, A DomSky, physically speaking, would not be 'that bad.' Not great IMO, granted. But there are far more disturbing and available options for the modern weeb to lust after.

It's been said before, but the reason guys flock is because of connection and suspension of belief. It's like strippers or pro wrestlers. We have fake names, a platform for a performance, and wear elaborate costumes and do stupid shit to sell the gimmick.

Take away the thotery and Dominique is just a nurse from East Texas.
Having anything to do with the sort of psychotic cunt who will steal a backstage pass to stalk you and try to set you up as a sex monster is not even settling, it's suicide.
Agree.
Some people will do anything to have a security blanket to hold onto to get through the night without bawling themselves to sleep.
These thots (and their sycophantic following) are fundamentally broken inside — they were too far gone the moment they traded a certain kind of sickness for stroking/being potential pay pigs by the shaft as an elaborate form of cock and ball torture.
The closer to the edge they bring their fanbase to the fruition that'll never be fulfilled is another step closer to the edge of their fabricated amount of separation between "reality" and their "kayfabe" being utterly shattered like a proverbial hymen when confronted by a paypig that broke free of his feeder trough and wants satisfaction.

But once the illusion cracks and the ugliness is put on full display, it's hard to shove that pussy back in the bag.

Oh that wouldn't break them. It's the court appearances that will not respect your work schedule, the draining nature of a lawsuit to motivation making you prone to procrastination, and the constant edge waiting for letters, papers, and anticipating the worst case scenario.
Tbh, I'm convinced that Monica will break up with Ron halfway through the lawsuit, but Ron will live in blissful denial.

"We're :) still :) together! :) We're :) just :) on :) break! :)"
Free clue for Soye, if you've been engaged for five fucking years and you're not married. . .she's just not that into you dude.

I'll spell it right out for you, Ronald.

Shit, I'll even quote a hentai dub I bet your fiance is familiar with.

"The sex with you is horrible, but you have such a pretty face."

When there are so many better looking girls out there, you have to do something to make yourself stand out, get noticed. Cosplay is the way some go.

Eh...I'd still smash.

But she's getting a paperbag on the head.

Except Monica already did that in her February 19th message about Vic pulling her hair and saying something sexual to her. She said she met three other women with similar experiences and decided to testify with them because her testimony corroborates theirs. If one of the people she talked to was Marchi, that seals the deal.

Which is fucking dumb because why are you talking to witnesses/interviewees like this before an investigation starts? That'll lead to a boatload of problems and you straight-up admitted to a cause of action.
Marchi's an interesting case. Of the known players, she gives strong impressions of being the most nutty super feminist type. Even her tweets before #KickVic became a thing were pretty crazy. You'd think she'd be the one to die on the lawsuit hill to try to stick it up to the Nazi patriarchy types.

But lately she's been quiet. Utterly quiet. Which makes me wonder what's going on with her.

She did say she would not "engage the trolls" during Lent.

Yet it is interesting that she's been gone for the past two-three days off Twitter. Not usually like her. I could understand Sabat, or even Rial and La Choy with the norovirus or whatever's going on with them, but Marchi? Nah.

Maybe, and this is just conjecture, she got her retraction/no deletion papers this weekend?

I really want someone to no-show. I would die laughing if someone no-showed.

Remember, Vic said he wanted to salvage his career and reputation. Whether that means getting his job(s) back or getting a boat-load of cash in the future is to be determined.

Also, based on Kameha Con, he still has tons of people who will support him at conventions. He obviously will have detractors (le thot Skye), who can be dealt with accordingly.

Because this is about a no-win case as it gets since these idiots pretty much admitted everything on their twitter feeds. Even people who fund whack jobs don't wanna just flush money down the toilet.

Goddamit, I've FINALLY caught up with this thread. Curse you Ron, Monica, Shame, and cosplay thot among others for bringing so much lulz and rocket boosting this thread into oblivion.

I'm really curious as to how our merry band of pathetic tards would be reacting once these papers hit. Supposing if they do indeed bite the bullet and settle, what would the terms be?

I have a couple of things to say.

1. @Laughing-Man The Green Power Ranger you are referring to is probably Jason David Frank. NOT Johnny Young Bosch, Kiwis (though I would not put it past these people to put JYB on the "hit list," either). Toy Bounty Hunter was on Hero Hei's stream last night and he said that Frank has a reputation on the convention scene.
Yes that is correct, I mostly know the name from that nutball that tried to assassinate him at Phoenix Comic Con a few years back, which is a mild embarrassment because I watched MMPR in the first run and he was my favorite. I suspect this was the anti-Christian hit list, or at least targeting those perceived as overly “traditional” not the word they used, but the meaning was there. That’s probably how Travis found his way into the list. Being a red blooded, patriotic supporter of the armed forces is probably only a few steps removed from an SS officer in these people’s books. And there were other names too, I only saw the first four while scrolling through my feed.

Retract all statements about Vic, apologize, maybe pay damages, and getting back jobs he lost. Don't know shit about law, but that would be my guess.

She may have gotten the initial letter and listened to her Lawyer. Stranger things have happened.

Vic only has Kemehacon to hold up as an example because he lawyered up and held them to their contract. And his Lawyer sat guard dog over him for much of the convention to watch for nonsense. Under those circumstances the pure value that Vic brings to the con table was obvious. Especially when compared to the Rial losers stuck out in the hinterlands confusing YuGiOh players. Ty did a great job of protecting Vic's brand with the Con's. He did what he was engaged to do. But if Vic had not lawyered up, his career would be over today.

As far as Funi? Once they are peeled off and separated from the VA's they will settle quickly under orders from above. The better comparisons will be Morgan Freeman and Niel deGrasse Tyson. Their studios initially threw them under the bus. Then when they pushed back with lawyers the studios did a real investigation, apologized, restored them.

Lets also not forget the massive issue that is Samantha Harte. She went full DFE the moment the blow back started. But she was in deep at the start.
What exactly will she bring to the table though? Like she seems like a non player or just a different Shane
