Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

Hi, I'm new. Been watching Weeb Wars for a long while now.

Forget the lawyer part. If these people shut up and didn't say anything, Vic's career would've been over for good. Maybe he could've lawyered up but it certainly would've taken a huge financial toll on him. And it would've been a lot harder for him to find work even after clearing his name. Now he probably has more support than he ever had before. The line he had certainly spoke for itself.

And who would even ever want to go to Rial's event. It's a random, probably smelly, comic shop where you cramp in and don't have much room to move around at all. And there were nerd tournaments that day. I'd rather be in a 3 hour line waiting to see Vic than 5 minutes in there.

Hello!
If you who I think you are, then I've seen your Twitter handle a few times.
Also, I feel bad for the Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament players who suddenly had to contend with a bunch of randos.

I get the feeling even the people wanting to play in their tournament was annoyed too. I know that given I use to participate in yugioh tournaments, I would consider going to another store that day, even if I did not know anything about weeb wars from expecting a major crowd that day in an area that is cramped. Of course I am assuming the store owner would have the decency to tell the players who go there once or twice a week.

BHBH and Ty did a brilliant job with Vic, they are not only challenging the Tortious Interference and defamation legally. They are also waging a rather obvious and effective PR war. They have managed to flip the public script turning Vic from the creepy molestor narrative, into the putt upon kind man bullied by the metoo brigade seeking virtue points and seeking to drive a white male christian from their industry. They turned Vic into the humble underdog and victim. And did so brilliantly. I don't know if it was intentional planning, luck, Karma, or God himself protecting his faithful, but the choice of Kamehacon as the place to make Vic's stand was fucking brilliant. As the only Dragonball centric Con it was pure Vic favorable audience. It was a high T male audience. With a minimum of the costhot outrage mean girls. So they staged their first public battle on the friendliest battlefield possible. And it worked brilliantly. Vic filled an entire floor of that building for three days. They turned his needed isolation and security into a massive selling point.

Once it gets closer to midnight and the first of the papers find their way to the recipients, Final Hours with Earthquakes & Bells is apropos.

Nah that's what the other side hears as their reality crumbles before them.

Nah, Day 3 is the stress setting and the walls closing in.

Final Hours is the real Kiwi Hours -- It's what Dominique would have been hearing as she ran her gay op.

In two minutes of typing this sentence, the time will now be 11:00 PM EST.

Let's change that ambiance.

More of bae. (Also ?Sean)

What exactly will she bring to the table though? Like she seems like a non player or just a different Shane

Early rumor has it she ran or was directly involved in the "investigation" and she was the high priestess explaining to the fans the moral importance of not allowing the public to view evidence or allowing the accused to confront their accuser.

Oh and she also did the fake swatting.

My working theory is that she was the bag man for the cabal at funimation. The VAs had their own reasons for wanting to kick vic. Largely personal and professional. Harte on the other hand is a true believer. She has ideological reasons for it, and her connections allowed her to act on them.

She won't be in the first round though. I would be shocked if she was not a second round target.

Yep. That's me. Usually used the farms to catch up on all this drama so why not just make an account at this point. Be gentle. It's my first time.

Let's just say even if I had $100 on the line, the moment I'd see Skye walk in, I'd let the guy take the money to get the heck out of there. It's not even worth the money to deal with that. I feel so bad for those people. They didn't deserve their nerdom to be invaded by Thots.

Not going to lie, I'd smash Dominique. She's a fucking idiot, but I'd sling some yogurt on those milkers.

As a fucking weeb, I'd take a sex doll over DAT ASS any day. It'll be less expensive in the long run and I'm willing to bet the doll would be closer to the softness of a non-botox/silicon filled human compared to the dumpster fire.

Retract all statements about Vic, apologize, maybe pay damages, and getting back jobs he lost. Don't know shit about law, but that would be my guess.

TBH, I dunno if they can comply with the "getting jobs back" part. They only seem capable of ruining careers, not building them.

Midnight has come (Central Time).....

Don't forget that DB is huge across the world and almost everyone knows about DB so KC was even more perfect kist simply due to interest of DB super leading them to KC and then seeing the KV antics and making them go "WTF is wrong with them."
It was probably intentional as Nick stated him and Ty both talked to KC about re-inviting Vic and that lead to all of the potential and juicy tortuous interference 'gossip.'
