I'm still partial to Final Hours, but meh.

Nah, last arc was the revenge arc. Revenge of the Dangerhairs

Now we're in Vic Strikes Back.

You also can't forget the fact that the Risembool Rangers are girls and women thirties and down. Good luck pushing the narrative of him preying on girls when his largest fanbase is made up of girls.

And the fact he has an impeccable legal record. No arrests to date.

Also, the geometry of the line means everyone in line were able to see him interacting with the people in front of them. No snaking lines where the people in back can't see. Full disclosure, everyone could see Vic having a blast with the fans.

I wonder if this is going to become a Risembool Ranger tradition to retell the accounts of the Weeb Wars to their daughters, even as Vic pushes 70+.

Boy, I want to be a fly on the wall for that.

True but I think a part of it was more towards pushing A narrative in order to corner the market towards A more one dimensional, 'everything is the same so buy ours instead.'

Thats possible, but also consider the politics involved. You have Joe Quesada taking phone calls directly from Barack Obama and IIRC, being invited to the white house back before Trump. 99% of the Marvel/DC management/editorial are not simply left but hard left. The Democrat agenda is very Metoo/SJW/pro feminist/anti abortion and the rest of the very things that SOMEHOW replaced superhero'ing in the comics.

Think of it as a loss leader scenario. The people in charge of these companies are more than willing to 'spend some' to 'convert some'. Also remember that anti capitalism is a direct message these companies are putting out in their actual products ALONG WITH the addition of SJW and woke philosophy.

And you have dozens of staff writers/editors/contractors beating twitter down with post after post of open warfare against their actual customers. AND upper management not only knows it but had stood firm on the whole situation in shareholder meetings, going as far as to attack/blame comic shops as well . They have literally attacked their ENTIRE market. The SJWs they theoretically target don't buy comics in the numbers to keep the overt SJW books afloat much less the big titles and years of sales or lack thereof, show exactly that.

They have shown that profit isn't their primary concern...so what is? Agenda based on politics is all that remains. And while I fully realize that people think "Oh its just comics or its just cartoons/anime," it's about far more than that. Just look at the history books. Look at guys like Yuri Bezmenov laying it all out 4 decades ago.

She looks hugely like a tranny in the one in the middle with mega-eyebrows. Fuck, she actually looks exactly like Onision, same psychotic expression.
I understand now why she wears the poorly styled wigs and long-hair with overexposed pore correction on her cosplay images, or pictures with excessive light exposure obscuring her face framed under bangs;

I don't think she likes any of her facial features at all.

It's all over almost all of her pictures. She's either covering up her brows with bangs, hiding her scorn-filled eyes with shades, trying to exaggerate them like in the troon pic, and just growing to be unflattering all over in her Blue Orca phase.

This also explains the alcoholism she got from her mother -- Mom's aging more gracefully than she ever will, to the point we originally mistook that Instagram pfp with the gamma turned to 17 as the account of a much-younger woman.

How deep a wound did that actually inflict on her — Not to see her family albums, or her dox, or constant mocking about her current fashion choices, but just to have to see and have herself compared and found lacking to her 60-year-old mother?

On the people getting hit in this round, this would have to be the easiest targets who have made the most damage to Vic's rep. March, Rial and Soye. An argument can be made for Marzgurl since she started all this shit, but she wasn't the one that came forward with a story like Rial and Marchi (and in Marchi's case, she has shown actual malice with her balls tweet). The last target would be either Funimation or RT, so that Vic can get back to work. Funimation has an easier case to be made against them than RT so I guess it would be them.

Disclaimer, Not an actual lawyer but the way Nick and Ty have explained things this is apparently the way things should go on the actual cases.

Vic is suing for defamation hence he needs to only say the statements are untrue under oath (I.e. his evidence) and then everyone who made defamatory statements need to provide evidence as to why they made those defamatory statements (I.e. have proof that he really is guilty of whatever they claimed he was guilty of).

Most likely to settle out of court for a set amount and a retraction of her statements, Possibly a restraining order preventing her from talking about the whole Vic situation as well. As her case is the strongest against her since she shows actual malice against Vic in both her Balls tweet and her leaked DMs.

If she tries to fight the defamation case, she needs to provide proof that he actually did those things to her in Funimation's lobby (camera footage or eyewitness testimony under oath) and then they cross examine statements and evidence as to whether it holds any weight to her claims and whether or not it's actual sexual assault.

Funimation

Again, unless they actually found something against Vic in that investigation that can tie him to sexually assaulting someone without a shadow of a doubt, they will settle out of court and claim they fired him for unrelated reasons (e.g. pressure from Voice actors) or they acted without sufficient knowledge. The second follow-up message to their message on firing Vic can be written off by mutual agreement as a general statement not pertaining to Vic (all of these need to made as public statements as well).

Why I doubt they actually found anything significant in the investigation is because if they had, they would've involved the police or handed that information over to the police (Again, I'm not a lawyer, but this seems like a basic ethics rule that should be implemented in every company's HR rules).

Also there's more incentive for them to settle out of court than to go to court and have Senpai's Sony and Toei reprimand them for their disorderly conduct and being unable to keep their Voice actors under control.

Monica and Soye

The only idiots who are going to fight this case. I have no other words regarding this as there is definitely a defamation case to be made for both of them but if they don't have proof to back up their claims, they're going to fall flat on their faces.

For round 2, I see Ty going after a bit more 'challenging' targets in the hopes that they were severely demoralised after Ty wins 4-0 and they'll be only too happy to settle out of court or to drop charges in exchange for info on bigger targets.

My guess for Round 2:

Rooster Teeth

Didn't actually make a defamatory statement unless you count that one employee of theirs, running their mouth. They could always disassociate themselves from that guy and pay a settlement to keep things out of court.

Even though she started all of this, she's a minor target given that she didn't accuse him of sexually assaulting her. However taking her down is still necessary.

Whoever they are, the only reason Ty will be tackling them now is so that they can get to Iago. Igor will have had the most dirty hands in all of this as they did all of Iago's dirty work. The reason why I say this might be challenging is because Ty would want him to go down, but go down giving more concrete proof that Iago was involved. If Igor doesn't squeal, then it was basically pointless. They may have evidence against Iago, but it's going to take some time to take him down and the war chest is limited.

Conventions with contracts that dropped Vic/Major News Outlets who Spread lies about Vic (e.g. ANN) but these are optional in this round, I feel. they're still necessary tho so Vic can get work again in the industry.

Lastly, Round 3. Who knows if we'll even get to this round. Depends on the GFM.

From what I can tell there'll only be one person in this round, unless Ty moves things around. That person is Iago.

Undoubtedly by this point in time, Ty would have his own evidence plus testimony/evidence given from people in the other 2 rounds that would be significant enough to tie whoever Iago is to this whole situation. Iago might also crumble under all of this (especially if Ty, wins every single fight up till this point in time) and may settle out of court for quite a hefty sum just to keep his whole operation under wraps.

As for everyone else, I don't think they will get hit unless the war chest is sufficient or it's actually worth going after them. usually sending this big of a message shuts people down quick in fear of a lawsuit.

If the war chest isn't sufficient, my guess is that restraining orders will be going out to everyone else who made defamatory statements against Vic. Tbh this would be the more viable option as the rest are attention hogs.

Serve people like Shane, Renfamous and Dominique with restraining orders stipulating that they aren't to get involved or speak about this whole situation and they'll fade back into their holes of obscurity and irrelevance.

Id say that even now marvel is putting out good, non propaganda based books and that its better than how it was in the last couple of years but you can very much still feel it, for example aaron and how he treats jane foster, she hulk and carol (oh God carol...). With comicsgate alot of these people are very talented but stupid NPC's, with weeb wars not so much

Do we have any idea on when the news will drop? Is there some specific time window for submitting lawsuit paperwork?
The anticipation is sorta like waiting for a pizza, except instead of a delicious, cheesy insult to all things truly Italian the thing we’re waiting for is the unspeakable screeching of a thousand banshees shown that sometimes actions have consequences and they can’t just freely defame and ruin people’s careers over flimsy accusations.

:optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic:, look at Shane’s visit here. You genuinely think these people have even an ounce of self-preservation?

So far all we know is that today is the day. I think silence on twitter will let us know if it did happen.

Outstanding motherfuckin post.

Do we have any idea on when the news will drop? Is there some specific time window for submitting lawsuit paperwork?

During the normal business hours of the court clerk.

EDIT: They can also E-filed it after hours, but I don't think it'll be acknowledged as received until the next business day.

Didn't Sony buy funimation? I doubt Sony, A Japanese company would be want their subsidiary companies being full blown SJW's even if it made them money let alone make them lose millions for no gain.
If Sony hasn't stepped in or Toei but allowed Funi deal with it, then I can see Funimation actually helping them to prop up the MeToo movement narrative.

That would've been true before, but with the Olympics approaching, Japan as a whole is increasingly pushing for "wokeness" as well. It's subtle, sure, but Japan could be seeing itself contract the epidemic of social justice in the near future.

Keep in mind that only Texas companies let Vic go. Not Bang Zoom or Viz Media, or even Sega for that matter (as we know of). If they found something, this info would be directed at them as well.

Rooster Teeth had two employees, not one, make defamatory statements. Miles Luna and Jen Brown. Brown implicated Rooster Teeth in all this. Or, at least she voiced characters in the company if you want to talk semantics.

they're all still under the impression that Ty, Nick, Vic are all lying. If not that, they think they have a solid case against Vic (I.e. he has to provide evidence to prove the claims false). So until the hhammer swings down 4 times in favor of Ty, they're still going to continue their Sperg fest

Based on Lauren's older pictures, the eyebrows are a recessive trait she's not too happy with to recieve from Mommy Dearest, based on how she looks when being a "normal" person with her father , what she tries to sell herself off as in cosplay, and what she actually looks like on a regular basis now.

Her eyebrows seems to be, uh, her trigger.

I'm still cataloging his replies to transcribe them. My ride never ends.
I'll admit it, in three of the pictures (wedding dress pictures and pub picture) she doesn't look that bad. In those ones she looks normal, not with giant stenciled eyebrows or a hideous blue wig.
