The devaluing of sex could potentially theoretically benefit both sexes.
For Men: it's the obvious, women having less control and less leverage increases every mans power in the dating world. I've read articles where women complain that men don't take them on dates anymore it's all about netflix and chill. But as any guy probably knows, you're expected to shell out the money for the fancy dinner she wants to have and if she friendzones you after costing you $100 oh well, try again next time. So the easier it is to get sexual gratification, the less power a manipulative woman, greedy gold digger or a woman whose personality is drying paint has in dating.
For Women: theoretically speaking, for the women out there who have more to offer than looks and sex but are otherwise prudish. They can more easily find patient men since they can easily get sexual gratification elsewhere then go on dates to make a connection, as opposed to needing to pretend to care to get your dick wet. (Now only guys who actually care would bother going on the date at all, It's not worth the effort to fake it)
