Atheists have this weird obsession with spiting or killing god which is retarded when they are supposed to be the ones who believe that he doesn't exist. This guys Twitter for example is just him throwing these weird arguments out to nobody in particular because he hates god so much. If you look at who he is following it is almost all euphoric atheist people.

You would think that after eight years of pointless arguments about religion and circlejerking with other atheists online about how not real god is you would get bored and move onto something else.

Ten years on from high school I can tell you most of my teen atheists friends became "spiritual but not religious" or went back to their home religions. A small but significant minority ended up being born again converting to Christianity or Islam, or engaged in syncretic practices. Many even are pagan now. So in more cases than not I'd say teen atheism is a phase to piss off parents or assert independence.

A guy on a Discord I follow summed up a good response on the Notre Dame fires in regards to people thinking this was well deserved because of the abuse and pedophilia:

Earlier today a friend said that the catholic church was getting its just desserts. This is a church. Its catholic. But it is part of Paris before that. A symbol of pride not just for Parisians, but for humanity. The edifice will kill the medium. That was Victor Hugo's thesis behind his novel. Yet he inspired france to adopt maintaining buildings as a cultural heritage. And other nations followed suit.
This isn't a church. It is not catholics. Not Paris', not France. But a symbol to the world.
While I've seen shitposts coping with this. Nobody thinks its very funny. And as a mosque burns in Jerusalem, i feel the same shock and horror as i feel here. This has nothing to do with Karma, or retribution. The only deplorable today are the ones that see these two structures burn, and say good.

Notre Dame was more or less a testament to what humans can build, whether it was for God, nation, or other things but some euphoric tards like to think "lol just a church building, not of value lost." Yeh, because obviously one can piss away any historical and artistic merit of it because colonialism or religion.
