Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

Oh, I didn't know that she dropped out of high school until now:

I assume her dad wanted her to go to BYU and maybe pulled some strings there. However, she did get a master's from Columbia and then worked for Sprinklr for nearly six years, so I'm curious if she's good at fooling people for a while or how all of that happened.
Did anyone else notice how small her laptop looks on her giganctic fupa? What a photo angle....

Also these dumbfuck "fat acceptance" cows need to literally pick up a dictionary.

ACCEPTANCE means I can ACCEPT you the way you are. No where does that mean I will change my entire life or habits for you. That is EMULATING. Not to mention, there are plenty of people who are not ACCEPTED as the normal. So what? Get over it, that's showbiz baby. If it bothers you that much that you stand out like a semi truck at a Fiat dealership; you should do something about it. If it doesn't bother you; great; carry on and STFU.

god damn i am living in a society where the majority are 10 ply. (letterkenny reference)

So we start off with this fun meme about how shitty our friends are, obviously.

Monitoring your own intake? You know it - fatphobic.

If seeing a bathroom scale ruins your night, then you're the one who has a problem.

Her father built a warehouse to showcase his antique fire engine he restored and other fancy antique cars, that’s quite a few notches above upper middle class. The China trip she went on was for her father’s business interests there, again not something an average upper-middle class dad would be doing.

I think the wealth started with her grandparents, but now the father manages the family business. Her dad’s house might be a typical million dollar McMansion in a expensive suburb but it’s other things that indicate significant wealth.

Maybe it's because I know plenty of people with similar lifestyles and interests, but none of what you describe suggests impressive wealth to me. Someone can buy an antique firetruck in need of restoration for $10K. Loads of businessmen routinely take trips to China and other places all over the world, own McMansions (theirs was originally purchased for $350K and would sell for around $500K now), etc., and COL in Ohio is relatively low. Of course there's a strong possibility that some Mormons in NYC were willing to help out a fellow LDS brother's sad, fat BYU alumna daughter get into school or build her career; the Mormon clique is real.

Though I think it's just as sad, if not sadder, if Anna was trying hard to be an adult, got into grad school based on actual grades and merit, and dedicated six years of her life to a company only to throw it all away for the ephemeral opportunity to play dress-up on Youtube and TikTok.

Her family is wealthy full stop. Her dad's place in Chagrin Falls. Is she a trust fund baby? No, her folks aren't that rich, but she is solidly upper middle class and her parents have paid full freight for her education and adventures no doubt.

This is her dad, one "Thomas Prescott O'Brien".

I believe this is her dad's work history, but I am not sure. If so, yea, they are loaded.

You should go back in the thread and read more, the details are there.

Her dad is a big wig in medical technology equipment industry. He now runs the company that makes the “Invisalign” teeth straighten stuff that’s virtually replaced braces for teeth alignment. Before that he was the in cardiac medical equipment sector in companies that had $1 billion plus yearly revenue. The medical equipment industry is ridiculous money.

Her dad isn’t upper middle class, or rich, he’s fucking wealthy. It’s the stock options and dividends he would own at this point from his previous companies and his current one (which is a raging success) that create real wealth and ensure Anna never has to work a day in her life if he feels so inclined towards her. He’s not Bill Gates, but he is easily a multi-millionaire

Dad bought Anna’s way into college and into her start-up job. Anna hasn’t earned jack shit, she wants her life to revolve around eating and playing dress up for attention. If not for Dad’s money she’d be cam whoring from a local trailer park outside of Dayton. Anna must be a terrible disappointment to her father.

I agree with you but do you have any confirmation that that is indeed her dad? It certainly appears to be the case. When you search "Thomas Prescott Chagrin Falls" those CEO profiles show up at top.

(Edited for clarity: This is 100% NOT Anna's father.) Oh, now this is revealing. I'm honestly surprised he doesn't live a more lavish lifestyle. The McMansion is nothing unusual or spectacular as far as McMansions go.

(Not sure how to edit in a quote.) @MirnaMinkoff "Her dad is a big wig in medical technology equipment industry. That's the sort of specific info I was asking for about his wealth in the first place.

I have yet to see an intellectual deathfatty. So far, they've all been college dropouts or high school dropouts. Why are there no deathfatties with Masters or Bachelor's degrees?

It almost seems like to be a person who eats himself/herself over 400 pounds, one prerequisite is that you have to be fairly dumb. I know a lot of smart people who are overweight, but none of them are deathfatties. While they can't say no to a piece of pie after dinner, they are smart enough to stop at one piece.

I guess this is a duh moment for me. Deathfatties are dumb, and smart people aren't deathfatties. Funny how some things work out so neatly.

While I'm sure it would be illuminating to see the average IQ of deathfats, I think another factor in deathfats dropping out of school is self-control. Even if you go to an easy school and pursue a bullshit degree, you still have to show up to class and turn in your assignments. I'm guessing that's beyond a lot of these people.

That's not her dad, the CEO you linked to is a "Thomas M. Prescott," not Thomas Prescott O'Brien. Her dad has been in a couple of her videos when they all went to China, and that's definitely not the same guy.

If I remember correctly, he owns a wholesale plumbing parts store in Ohio. With the relative low cost of living, and smart savings, he could easily afford to help her out. I would assume that he set up some sort of trust for her, or the grandma did, so she's got some steady stream of income.

No shit, which is why I was asking for help with confirmation.

Please bring receipts or at least links to this thread if you're going to claim things. Do you have any evidence of him owning a plumbing business? Myself and others in this thread have been following Anna for years and done research on her. We are hardly infallible but "he owns a plumbing store iirc" is objective shit, you just threw that out there.

Here's Anna's immediate family.

This is what her dad looks like, and her step mom.

Is this her brother? I tell ya one thing searching these names and places brings up all sorts of Mormon and high finance shit.

Anna's grandmother, RIP.

Virgie Tovar has a Master's degree in Sexuality Studies with a focus on the intersections of body size, race and gender.

There are two kinds of rich; rich enough that your kids (grandkids, etc.) will never have to work--see Jamie Johnson's documentary "Born Rich"--and those that are rich enough to set their kids up to live an upper middle class lifestyle out of the gate, by providing an education, down payment for a home, capital to start a business, etc., but no expectation of bank rolling the kid into their thirties.

I think Anna's family is probably the latter type of rich (honestly, they wouldn't be so fucking fat if they were old money) but Anna's dad hasn't been able to cut her off yet. I mean, his wife and daughter died young, so he's probably overcompensating or something.

Yeah, and people tend to forget that Anna also worked as a high level Vice President for Citibank in NY for nearly three years. They have a starting salary of nearly 140k, plus stock options. She helped them set up their social media customer service team, and was considered by Citi to be a "hot commodity" in the field of analytics, specifically with regards to social media. They courted her hard and shit themselves with joy when she took the job with them. She was really well paid, so on top of whatever her family set up for her, she probably had good deal of money in the bank from her job at Citi.

Anna is that you? Yea, she was such a great worker that she quit her 140K starting salary to join sprinklr and then was so utterly replaceable they shitcanned her shortly after she joined the main office in NYC.

Nothing in her career path suggests she was qualified for any of the jobs she worked, which is why she isn't making 500k a year at citi right now and was shitcanned quickly from Sprinklr and is now an "influencer".

Occam's razor suggests this HS drop out used family connection to get jobs she wasn't in any way qualified for and once she proved inadequate her family connections didn't matter. Like have you read her book? Have you watched her presentations on youtube? She is nothing special.

Citi's social media customer service was considered "groundbreaking" (or so we were told at work), and her presentation were considered by executives to be mindblowingly informative. She was given almost 100% credit for the social media customer service team and hailed as a "success," despite it being out of touch, not too helpful, and woefully out of touch with internet culture. The video you linked to is an example of her "groundbreaking" analytics services she offered. Citi ate that shit up, so she probably got glowing references from them when she left.

Unfortunately, she couldn't hide her incompetence at a place that actually expected results and understands how shit works. For somebody who was supposed to be a "social media expert" she's woefully out of touch.
