Ok so that sounds like David Dreger was murdered in a hit by RT.

Have you ever read Shane's letter (Newville not that other Shane) about how RT was manipulating Monty's work in RWBY? While I can't give credence to the whole letter, given what happened with RWBY I wouldn't be surprised if a good chunk of it was true.

If that's the case then Monty Oum's death starts to look a whole heck of a lot like a hit job by RT.

I PERSONALLY can't exactly take neither letter as certainty. It's at best very collaborative testimonies of what had happened in their eyes. Nevertheless, I am holding on thoughts until RT get called to court, and we POSSIBLY uncover more of this seemingly dark rabbit hole from discovery. At this rate, my interest lies in how much they were involved with Funi and if some new info of these cases come out to the light.

From what I know of the whole thing it seems like his gf directly to his death but I doubt RT tried to kill the guy, seems pretty extreme for a pretty successful show just cause you wanted to do some different stuff. I'd more chalk it up to everyone involved in rwby and Monty's death being idiots

With SJWs/the woke brigade, one never knows. Just look at Russian Deadpool or the porn chick (August Ames IIRC) they drove to suicide over an online comment about working with gay actors. Or the swatting. I would not ever simply 'trust' no foul play being the case any time one of their tribe is involved.

Why does she talk, why does Monica do these things? do you think she believes shes right, or is she just pushing it all the way since she cant turn back now?
shes blabbing because the other side thinks they have an excuse to show their asses since they didn't see their own heads on display yesterday or today

at least think of this. one day, little jimmy will look at toye and rial and ask "parent beta, parent alpha, why do we have to live in a shack? why can't we live in a house like the other kids?" and they'll have to explain its because they were spergs when they were young.
You think Monica is going to be pushing kids out at her age? She doesn't have a biological clock ticking away, she's got a hurricane siren going off 24/7.

I dunno about ya'll, but Monika has the most annoying voice I have ever heard in my life. I've never liked any of the characters she's voiced that I know of because they all sound like whiny, screechy children that make me want to tear my ears off my head in despair. I'd rather listen to a baby cry for 24 hours. Who the hell thinks she's a good VA?

Oh right a bunch of exceptionals.

....... No, he committed suicide. On the day Dreger disappeared, he deleted all of his social media, his Xbox LIVE account, and all the contents on his website. Dreger placed this clip on repeat instead on the homepage:

Ok thanks for setting the story straight for me.

Either way it still looks like RT has a history of putting stuff under the rug.

Oh, so he actually did voices for Burter that never aired, huh? I'd be shocked, but it is Sabat's sleaziness at work here.
Actually, the episodes did air but they were by no means the more popular of the two dubs at the time on TV. Reports from and after the time by fans indicated that the Ocean dub was still more popular despite the marketing push of airing uncut episodes for the first time (with blood~!). Eventually everything did air in places like Australia and later properly in the US in 2005 but it definitely wasn't a long-lasting thing. Probably only aired once.

The home release for the uncut dub (Referred to as the "Ultimate Uncut Edition") is an even more exceptional case where Funi truly burned a lot of their fans but that's beside the point of this thread

Uh oooooh, I think reality is starting to settle in for Soye. Hope he enjoys that $50k lawyer tab.

50k is optimistic. I refer everyone here to the case of Alex Mauer, which you can read about on the farms as it was recorded heavily too. Tl;dr it was a case of a chiptune writing troon doing fraudulent DMCA takedowns of YouTube videos covering a game made by an indie publisher who had not paid him. It was an autism storm that lasted an entire year. There were no facts in dispute and both the plaintiff and the defendant were broke, relying on crowdfunding and a YouTube lawyer (Leonard french) working at half rate. It cost 25,000 dollars in federal court. And that because Mauer disputed the initial filing pro se in a hand written affidavit that would have been better served written in crayons then pen

Lawsuits are fucking expensive.

She can actually make her voice bearable for certain roles.
I nearly did a double take when I found out she voiced a dragon goddess.
So out of everything, she’s not a terrible VA.

What's sickening about the Dreger situation is that they restored content Dreger created on their website after he died.
They did not bother with Dreger until the fans demanded Rooster Teeth try to help with the search for him. Before that, they wanted nothing to do with him at all.

I'm not condoning what Dreger did, but he had his life ripped out from underneath him and suffered severe depression as a result. Unlike Vic, Dreger never recovered from it. His behavior at RTX 2012 displays a man at the bargaining stage of grieving and him coming to grips of the consequences of his actions. No one helped him, no one from Rooster Teeth reached out to him. No one there cared until his body was found.

She was also the voice of Michiko from Michiko & Hatchin. I had no idea it was her until the credits. So she does have a good range of voices she can use.

RT were even vicious about Monty, the creator of their hit show Vic voiced in. If you read the testimony of Shane, a Ex employee and good friend of monty. They went as far as to completely rework the script the minute Monty died and didn't even go through with the character designs Monty made. It seems like the minute he died they took advantage of his death to take the show in a completely different direction at the cost of removing huge character archs like Jaune's

This along with it being mentioned in the letter that Monty wanted to start a new studio and take RWBY with him really make his death seem fishy to me.

We know Ty Beard is hitting Toye for over 400 individual defamatory tweets. Each and every one of them will have to be examined and defended by Toye's lawyer. At a rate of likely $500/hr. $50,000 won't even begin to cover it. And who's gonna toss crowdfunding funds at Soy Toye? He's nobody! He's just some asshole who doesn't know when to shut up on twitter. And neither Vic nor Ty Beard have any particular reason or incling to be merciful with this fucker considering what he has tried to pull on both of them.
