He's known her dad for at least the 5-6 years that I've known who Shane was. But he didn't even know her until two years ago?

I think the interesting part of @Not A Bug 's quote there though is "for at least the 5-6 years that I've known who Shane was.". I have to ask, doesn't that imply that Shane could've known her father for even longer than that?

Yes, Yes it does. I would suggest reviewing not a bug's posting history for some real insight regarding the trainwreck that is shane. They also did a stream with Hero Hei.

Maybe but I can't confirm that. I've been around A-Kon for about 9 years, in the periphery until about 2012-2013. Didn't realize there was a Shane until about 2014. By then I knew who most of the central players were and Shane and his FIL were most certainly acquainted. The assumption that he new his wife then is probably correct. He definitely knew her in 2016 as she was working with his staff.

I have my speculations based on other static and observation but it's just that, speculation and surmising. There's plenty of that here and it's at least as reasonable as guesses than I could add with whatever small disjointed info that I possess.

You know what would be 'ironic' is if that's Shanes half brother he found out and the girl he's dating is biologically similar to him ?
 
Since we are on the topic of @Shane_Yes_That_One's favorite dish, I looked up the possibility of actually downing them.

First off, The leather ones are consumable, Shane probably just has to boil them to soften them up after stripping out the inedible metal, plastic, and other bits. Cloth is a lot harder to choke down, especially since many cloth shoes are made out of synthetic material mixes that don't digest well, while leather will at least metabolize somewhat normally.

If he wants to, he can boil leather shoes down to soup stock level, blenderize them, then drink it as a smoothie.

Or, if he likes to grill, he can boil the leather long enough to soften it up and excise the preservatives introduced in the manufacturing process, then he can slap it on the grill, put some steak sauce, and have his own version of beef tongue.

Alternatively, he can braise the leather after softening it, then he can serve it in pieces along with a salad, or he can make a full soup or stew out of it if he has some appropriate stock for either.

Since I foresee him eating a lot more shoes in the future, and I'm not sure how he likes his, that should be helpful.

He also might want to watch the short film Werner Herzog did where he ate a shoe in front of a live audience.
