OR IS IT?

I mean, all this bullshit started up as soon as Vic moved to Texas, prior to this nada, nothing, no shitty metoo movement, or trying to kill his career.

I wonder if it's a big pond small fish mentality from Rial, Sabat et al.

Vic's a huge fish in star power terms, we've seen that obviously from the major success of Kamehacon.

What if they didn't like this whale (monetary term, not Vic's weight, eat more steaks for a bit please dude, you've lost too much from all this shit) coming into their waters well and decided now was the time to get rid of him more permanently?

Since he records at home and the internet exists making 99.9% of face to face time unneeded, their only 'trigger' would be his very presence. So petty jealously could well have been the last straw setting them off.

Well, it's coincidental from the stand point he didn't move back to Texas just to get jurisdiction. It doesn't work that way. He'd have to be a resident AND be wronged at the same time in order to have standing there. Ty would gone over that with a fine tooth comb. It's not an issue to make this a federal case if it needed to be one.

I don't know if him moving back had anything to do with them dog-piling on him. I suppose that's possible.

Well it's a good thing neither my brothers nor I decided to grab a copy of the DVD when we were out yesterday; if the Blu-Ray footage is botched, the DVD may be as well (can't believe Toei did that, what the fuck). We've been considering getting it for a brother's birthday coming up, but he never put it down on his birthday list so meh. Seeing it in theaters was good enough.

But emitting the Vic interview in light of all of this is fucking stupid, and I hope Funimation gets reamed hard over that.
Apparently Toei had some issue internationally, and the only country that got a proper color treatment outside Japan, was the UK.

Did the video of a certain chunky costhots gayop ever get released or was that pure hot air?

Not that I know.

So what county is Funimation's HQ in?

We have Soye and Rial's dox. What county are they in?

I think we even have Vic's dox. What county is he in?

Doesn't it have to be one of those?
Funimation is Flower Mound/Denton or Tarrant County
MoRon is Richardson/Dallas County
Marchi is Dallas/Dallas County

I don't remember the street address for Funi and Flower Mound is in 2 counties.

1200 Lakeside Pkwy, Flower Mound, TX. 75028

Google says that's Denton.

Vic lives in Houston (Harris County). MoRon are in Richardson (Dallas County), Marchi is in Dallas (Dallas County).

I don't know how it works, but I hope it's outside Dallas County just so I can imagine the trio trying to organize a way to car pool to the court house.

And even if there was an NDA an NDA does not prevent information being probative if it is evidence of a crime or legal dispute. The leaker could in theory be sued or fired for leaking the info and thus breaking the NDA, but vic is not obligated to follow it

What are they gonna do? Fire him? I really doubt they even made him sign an NDA because they think they're hot stuff and nobody could touch them anyways. I really want to see Sony clean house Funimation for wasting their goddamn time and resources over a petty lawsuit all because they couldn't keep the VAs under control.

reasonable people tweeting at nobodies on twitter to "own" the "other side"
attention addicts thrusting themselves into the situation
promises of lawsuits that haven't come to fruition (yet)

so we really are just doing gamergate again huh

Personally, I just entertain them to either see their reactions or sometimes draw bigger names into the mix. I know I'm not going to win these people over so why not see how long before they get angry and block me. Trolls are usually the most fun. If the ethics complaint is from Adel or whoever that one guy is, that might've been my fault. But I take no responsibility if Nick kills himself in laughter over it.

I doubt we see RT in this round. I think the Amazons need other dominoes to fall before they have a case against them, since they just fired him and went radio silent; falling under 'At Will' employment protection

Also kind of sucks this happened during an inbetween segment. Not sure if he had a contract with RWBY Chibi otherwise they probably could drop him no problem.

Hmm.

So questions regarding the suit-to-be.

Since it's going to be filed in State, there won't be PACER. Will there be something similar, like a state suit database? Also, does it being filed in state have any significance in suing, say, the canucks of ANN or Californias like Marzgurl?
It would be through the county clerk of the county of filing, I just checked Dallas, Tarrant, Denton and Collins and found nothing filed on their online system.

It wouldn’t matter. Vic is the Plaintiff, and even if he still lived in LA his business and employment, that was the heart of the matter, was in Texas. Vic’s home address would not be a reason to force diversity or question Jurisdiction unless he chose to make it so. As the Plaintiff he has some ability to pick his battlefield.

It’s probably filed in either Dallas or whatever jurisdiction Tyler, where the BHBH main offices are. Which I think sits halfway between Dallas and Houston. I don’t think there is any real jurisdictional question regarding where in Texas they file, beyond they will more often choose the “home field” courthouse that allows them the easiest access and most familiar staff. BHBH isn’t going to drive halfway across Texas to file.

The only thing I found in Harris county is Vic's 2001 divorce which confirms his name for court purposes is Vic and not Victor

Does a nigga need to choke a bitch before he sees papers?
If I recall correctly in Texas for some of the torts the attorney (Ty) has to submit the docs to the court, the court then publishes the docs then they're available publicly. At least that was what I thought I read re: civpro.

BTW, I'm gonna be a shill faggot and say ya'll should consider joining Nick's Discord. $5 a month allows you to listen in on the Wednesday chats. He's been saying a lot of interesting stuff about the lawsuit for the past hour or so, including stuff he doesn't say in his videos.

When he tells me "this doesn't leave the Discord," or tells me stuff in private, I follow that out of respect. I only share stuff he explicitly says I can. I love the Farms, but I also don't like violating trust when somebody expects me not to.

That's said, about half of the stuff I've shared so-far has also been posted on his Discord. The other half is Twitter DMs. The former doesn't make me super special.
