I'm lost on the jelly bean story, i've just been going along with it but, wtf?
Watch from 1:36:31 until 1:43:50 or so.

Re: Dominique

I don't even know if it matters if there's a video.

She was there (and was forced to admit so herself, after PULL said otherwise).
She had an access pass that she wasn't supposed to have (photo evidence).
She was doing shady shit.
She got tossed the fuck out.

She took an embarrassing L. She went back into Twitter lockdown because her gay op didn't work.

Anything further would just be the gravy on top.
Look, we know that T Rexes existed too. We have evidence of it and we can read about them in books. Still, I want to see live video of a T Rex if I can.

Somewhere out there someone caught video of this happening. Most likely on a vertically-held cell phone with a crappy mic from 30 feet away. I still want to see it.

KC had HER video, the one her beta minion was filming, deleted. KC reportedly has their own video. Staff or security were filming her attempted gayop.

I'd love to see it too, but...

I'm gonna predict right now, unless Emoshi or one of them has a video of their own (which they would have released by now), you're probably not gonna see it. KC is gonna keep that in their back pocket in case Dominique starts spouting off publicly about harassment, or she makes an accusation that one of the staffers touched her fake titties during the encounter, or some such bullshit. It's their insurance policy. It keeps her stupid lying ass mouth shut, and allows them to move beyond all this.

I've seen this happen before at a con many moons ago (it involved J-List, and I related it in the Mother's Basement thread). The con didn't start showing dirt on a public forum until they were forced to. It's a bad look if you're trying to look professional.

KC is probably relieved this shit is finally over as far as they're concerned. I hope their revenue was enough to cover costs, and they don't end up financially in the toilet (I kinda doubt it... they seemed to have really good turnout).

if they have any financial troubles they can just ride vics dick next year. even milk the "we re-re-re-reinvited him first!" thing

Thanks to Vic and their belated decision to honor their contract, which they shouldn't have had to be bitch slapped into doing for their own good.

These idiotic scumbags were all about this vaunted "investigation" up until it turned out to be complete bullshit. Suddenly they're yowling about "privilege." Which they apparently don't know what that means.

Don’t you just love that. “Oh we can’t give you details. The investigation is privileged. We’ll just scream Pedophile Rapist 400+ times on social media and directly contact all of his business partners. But remember you or he can’t know about or use anything about this because it’s a double super secret Funimation investigation that we say has an NDA. Oh remember RAPIST!”

It’s like they think the magic social media words have some power in the real world? And still why are these two idiots trying to make their ever more shrill case on Twitter still? They have to have gotten their big boxes of fun from last Friday by now? What would posses them to keep using Twitter? On getting that box of 400+ retraction demands any sane person would have smashed their smart phone (badly named in the case of these clowns) and joined the Amish!

I even give them a small amount of sympathy for that too. I mean, having somebody like Sabat reeeeing at you probably isn't pleasant, and convention guest contracts probably don't get litigated all that often.

I like to look at it from the standpoint that Ty gave them the courage to stand their ground. Sometimes people need that encouragement.

EDIT: Ty seems to harbor no ill will towards KC, and even said most of the staffers were first-rate.

It's the underlined bit that is the narrative they're going to go with, I'm certain of it. "The Jellybean incident was just one incident of constant creepy sexual comments he made."

The entirety of the radical left outrage mob tactic is to cow people into not realizing the Progressives (the political affiliation of the SJWs / Antifa / Radical Left) are like 8% of the country, and those active on twitter a vanishingly small minority of that. It's shock and awe social media tactics and the demand that REEE don't dare question REEE.

Once you get encouraged and realized these are trollish idiots who were indoctrinated by literal Marxists in academia to hate their own race / sex / culture / etc and set loose upon the world, they become not only a lot less frightening, but something that it's all too easy to want to piss off just to see them angry.

So if he wasn't fired over the jellybean story, which is still all kinds of hilarious and it's shocking how Marchi is still defending it, then what the hell was he fired for? Marchi is doubling down on the idea that eating a bean is sexual harassment, but in the same post also says he wasn't fired for that. That...wasn't the smartest thing to admit to.

Maybe he ate Monicas sandwich from the community fridge during a recording break. :story: i wouldn't put it passed the fat bitch for complaining about something like that.

I mean to be fair, in most contexts and understandings, that is a sexual-in-nature joke.......

but holy fuck is it exceptional to fire him over just that. suicidal too because if rumors are to be believed, he's heard and received far, far worst than the joke he made. he could release it all and reetoo funimation and likely the dubbing industry.

That's the thing that gets me - is that the kind of stuff he said all the time? Dad jokes?
That's their standard for sexual harassment? If so, that is profoundly exceptional. Anyone who thinks this way, unironically, needs to be placed in a white padded room for the rest of their lives.

I don't know what's funnier, the people who are playing along, or the people who are taking the bait.

Yes.

Also, as averse as I am to fandom or hero worship, Shortround comes damned close to bypassing my principles.

What would be lulzy would be if they did go the "were married" route and then lost so they doubled their potential debt.

I'm personally treating this like the traffic cone in times square experiment. It's not really a question of are they legally married in TX as far as I am concerned. The question should be: Can we make Jellybean marry Soy with nothing but the power of the internet?

Sticking your dick in someone, or jerking off while someone else does, gives no legal protection. It's a SPOUSAL privilege, not a cuck privilege.

spitake

So now we know what you get when you fuck a stranger in the ass. Not sure if I'd rather replace a windshield instead of cleaning coffee off my monitor and keyboard.

Its also a double entendre, if someone takes offence to it then its on them for being a pussy bitch of a snowflake.

Yeah, but prove it to a jury.

See, that's the issue. The thing about double-entendre is the double meaning.

He ate a Jellybean that said Monica Rial on it.

Okay.

What the fuck is an East Texas jury supposed to do with that? Crucify him?

One of the three stories better be about him explicitly saying he's going to fuck the shit out of her. But we know from Nick that one of the three is MORE exceptional than the Jellybean story.

All said and risking being called a moron myself: the hell is IBS?
People answered you what, but not who. If you want to know more check the Internet famous subforum ~1/2 of all threads are people directly or can be tied to IBS in some way.
The criteria for Iago are as follows:

-Is a vice principle in Funimation.
-Has influence at conventions.
-Is not directly employed by Funimation.
-Shows off/boasts of greater wealth than they actually have access to.
-Thinks they are far cleverer than they actually are.
-Has tried to keep "away" from the situation and influence from the background.

The most likely person for this, is Sabat.
The company was never specified. What'll be interesting is if Rial is in R1 as Ty recently said Igor/Iago wouldn't be R1 as that affects my Iago = Sabat, Igor =Rial theory.
Didn't ppl say KC had it deleted?
Thots was deleted, people are saying security had footage of the incident and mightn't release it, but i'm not sure that's confirmed... I thought it was just a by-stander who supposedly captured the incident.

I've worked in corporations a long time. If I said the Jellybean joke to a coworker I would be pulled aside and told not to do that again outside of the IT office. Not because it was a offensive joke or sexual harassment, but because if some Squirrelbrain female decided to destroy me, HR would capitulate instantly because it would be easier to replace me than pay tens of thousands of dollars to a lawyer to fight it. This would, in part, be due to the calculus that my suing for wrongful termination would be infinitely less likely than what amounts to a harassment suit by the Squirrelbrain because their mobile hugbox was violated.

But did he though? Or did he give them an ultimatum?

What gets me is that these companies/cons are only facing the very same threats/tactics (whisper campaigns etc) that organized labor has used against companies for a century...just in a more internet era context. The only way to deal with it is to pull a Nancy Reagan and 'Just say no" because sure as the sun rises, they will pull the same shit next year if KC actually holds one.
