Eh. I still think the best outcome of this with regards to Funi is that they settle and give Vic his roles back plus a little bonus for the trouble. Ty just revealed a minute ago that a tabletop game publisher is making a lawsuit that is similar to Vic's.
If they go through with the suit, then Vic's suit may go faster since the tabletop publisher has a case that's caused by something more petty than eating a jellybean.

Since the deposition is gonna be brutal, I pretty sure we are gonna see more a few of the primary targets crack when their bullshit falls apart, and any legal council with functioning brain cells is going to flat out beg their clients to accept defeat and roll over.

The fun thing about depositions is that all the bullshit is gonna be weeded out prior to the actual trial, so by the time the deposition is over, Ty and the Amazons will have nothing but cold hard truth on their side, the deposition is just them whittling out any bullshit from the other side.

i'm not saying the company and definitely not the people are important or irreplaceable, im saying its a shame theyre exceptional individuals, because, and i might be wrong but i don't think there a lot of companies that do english dubs. if they weren't crazy and stupid they might actually have some actual good will in the anime community. it's amazing how they keep doing the exact opposite of things that would make them likable. and remember, jealousy is an element. unbelievable.

As tempting as Toei slaughter is, and i hate to be that guy, Toei doesn't even know what the fuck they're doping with Dragon ball. Even if you like super (and i certainly DON'T) the way they're handling new releases of old episodes. The blue tint on the Broly movie (Yes Toei did this, not funimation) etc.

Toei knows what they're doing with Dragon ball as well as Funi does.
