No one really knows.
The anime community is like the Aztec Empire, requiring annual sacrifice via accepting the false accusations of Sjws to stave off the apocalypse.

What the fuck even is this "the community is healing" talking point even mean?
"I don't believe all of the dubious allegations but he's acting like a manchild for fighting back against people trying to destroy his carrer with said dubious allegations."
I believe Marchi implied Ron was a Funimation employee or at least an agent for them in that specific tweet and since Funimation themselves didn't refute the claim that he was, then the courts have to assume that he is in fact an employee/agent of Funimation and thus liable for any damages he causes to both Funi and Sony unless they can prove that he isn't and even then, that would expose the fact that a non Funimation employee had access to company information that could or couldn't have been "confidential". Basically either Ron claims he's a Funi employee and at fault for any damages toward Sony and Funi or he proves that he doesn't but then throws Monika under the bus for having a chatty, fat whore mouthPerhaps you guys can help me out....
I was searching for specific Tweets/a specific conversation. I recall there were same from I think Marchie oder Rial herself in which they specifically wrote that Monica's "husband"/"fiancé" is a Higher-up in Funimation. But I coudn't find them. Do I remenber this falsely? ?

That was literally my first thought during Nick's reading of the petition. So how many of you think that marchie will be the first one who'd try settling and turn up info against Monica etc ?
I'm surprised she has any education in journalism. The way people became io9 writers was by commenting on articles. If you got enough likes you were promoted to writer. You didn't need any education or experience. You just needed clickbait and upvote skills.Beth Elderkin - IQ, due probably to an XX-genotype birth defect, not high enough for STEM:

I wouldn't deign to wipe my ass with any of her credentials, nor those of just about any journalist.

I read the bold text, seen the length and went. "Is there a TL;DR?" seen the guy with the TL;DR and went "Ahhh, yeah, not reading."I stopped reading after "sue over tweets" since i realized nothing of value would come after it.

Yeah, I considered that too. But I remeber it to not have been sounded like a joke in context. But perhaps I'm wrong. Nevertheless I can't find the tweets anymore. ?It was either a work husband joke, or a joke in and of itself.
I wouldn't be surprised if those tweets were hastily deleted to save face.Yeah, I considered that too. But I remeber it to not have been sounded like a joke in context. But perhaps I'm wrong. Nevertheless I can't find the tweets anymore. ?![]()

Let me give you a bit of inside baseball after a two decade career in journalism. J-Schools havent turned out an actual journalist since the mid-late 90s. And even then it was a crap shoot. I watched one social activist after another hired out of J school/or shortly after their graduation, fuck up the basics daily when the story could be steered into a social issue. Those basics are known as 'The 5 Ws." Who/What/Where/When/Why.I'm surprised she has any education in journalism. The way people became io9 writers was by commenting on articles. If your taking requests I'd love one that is a camo puzzle piece silhouette of an Abrams with either weapons grade autism or weaponized autist.I planned something special for all my exceptional friends
This whole thing has caused a divide in the anime community because Vic decided to fight back against their the accusations instead of being a good boy and letting them trample over him and get away with it, he should have been a good cuck and let them get away with it, these people would prefer an innocent man to get his life destroyed and 10 guilty people walk free because if the opposite happens it will cause more damage to the anime community as a whole, that what "healing the community" means. What the fuck even is this "the community is healing" talking point even mean?

Funimation, Marchi, Rial, Soye are being sued. Co-defendants, not sure if each will need their own lawyer or if they can double up on Funimation's. I believe the former.
Lawsuit is for at least 1 million dollars. Likely significantly more.
Soye didn't remove the tweets upon request, so the damages are tripled.
Soye has made specific claims of fact -- "100+ women," "6 friends of mine, " etc etc. He has to provide details and evidence of every single one of these supposed incidents, including their full dox. If he can't, it's defamation and they lose. (They've already admitted they can't.)
Soye, his fiancee, and Marchi were all saying that the insider info that Soye was repeating was confidential. All 3 of them gave the impression Soye was a Funimation employee. Because Funimation never publicly corrected this, Soye counts as a Funimation employee, and Funimation is liable for every single thing Soye said.
Due to some oddity in law, since they're all co-defendants they all owe all of the money and each owe all the money. What this means is Vic will get his judgement from whomever can immediately pay (Funimation / Sony), and then Funimation / Sony will have to sue the other three idiots for their share. That is to say, Ty just gave Funimation a significant incentive to settle and turn on the other three. Thus, the idea that Funimation or Sony will be helping the Three Stooges with representation is laughable.
Nick has a mole in their little clique. It's implied someone's been feeding Nick information, and when they find out they will feel almost as betrayed as Vic has felt.
There were hints that they were intentionally doing this because they felt that Vic might be suicidal and this would cause him to kill himself.
Apparently there's evidence that one of them was openly praying for an underage rape victim to appear. In writing.
Apparently there's evidence that one of them admitted in private that they didn't actually have any evidence that Vic did anything wrong.
Sony performed the investigation on Vic. They cited 3 incidents. One was him eating a Jellybean. Another was a hoax about how they totally heard he slept with fans at a con once. Another was a consensual kiss between him and a coworker. All three were stupid HR Bullshit but Sony still fired him for it -- I called this 100~ pages back. Basically, HR is likely staffed by Dangerhairs who will support other Dangerhairs, and HR is going to take the stance that it's easier to fire Vic and risk him suing them for wrongful termination (unlikely) than not fire Vic and have Dangerhairs sue for hostile work environment. (Near guarantee.)
Someone was telling cons about the investigation before the investigation happened.
Someone was telling cons about the investigation during the investigation.
Someone was implying that Vic would be arrested for raping a child to the cons during the investigation.
Someone was telling cons about the investigation right after it happened.
It was implied heavily that KC and other con owners came forward with evidence that the clique was trying to blackmail them over Vic. KC apparently immediately after the con ended.
The HR lady from Sony fired Vic and then 2 weeks later Funimation did a public virtue signal post, or as the Texas Narrator says it, "It was at this point that our good ol' boys at Funimation dun fucked up."
Ty has ANOTHER SJW vs geeky hobby company in Texas set up, this one heavily implied to be GRUPS et all being targeted by some Dangerhair Troon with a Nazi Haircut. It is also mentioning the broken staircase terminology that was being used to organize the industry blacklist / SJW "hit list" for anime -- i.e., we might be seeing a new form of SJW organization wherein they publicly organize enemies lists to destroy. Because there's never been any pushback about this sort of thing before.
