The point is, at no point did he tell Vic he SHOULD sue, and he's getting nothing out of this from Vic or Ty. It's more along the lines of he heard out Vic's story, as part of an attempt to get Vic to come on his show, and at some point thereafter (I don't know how soon after) he introduced Vic to Ty.

If he gave legal advice, or accepted a kickback, there might be an ethical issue here. But that's not what happened. He was even careful to not say Vic's lawfim until Vic freely entered into an attorney-client relationship and got permission (which initially made it seem like Nick had just been made aware of the existence of BHBH).

Nick will be not happy if I don't make this clear. If you haven't noticed, he's super serious about his professional reputation.

In the end, they're just really fucking pissed that Nick made a referral that ended in the person he referred filing a lawsuit, and that Nick is laughing at all of them for their stupidity.

Also, I noticed that she doesn't follow any of the REEEEEly vocal VAs, despite costarring with a couple of them (i.e. appearing alongside Monica in a few Sentai dubs, like Girls und Panzer and Watamote.

One other note: she's actually got a few thousand more followers than Jamie Marchi.

While she sometimes likes left-leaning posts (like most VAs tend to do), she generally avoids getting super controversial. Like @Empty Donation Box said, she's been pretty prolific when it comes to Sentai Filmworks dubs, though she has yet to do any work for Funimation from what I know (despite being a pretty big One Piece fan from what I can tell, which you'd think would make her more likely to get a role in that dub), so I'm not sure she really has a stake in the Vic situation one way or the other.

This is where I think the word "narrative" finds its purpose. I hate, I mean absolutely loathe the current buzzwords "your/my truth." Truth is an absolute. It's either true or it's not. Not that any of those wastes of humanity even have a passing familiarity with it.

Sometimes words can piss you off, especially the co-opted ones.

Elon is such a damn weeb I bet pitching the ‘save the anime’ idea could work.
We could see a Elon Musk-owned anime dubbing studio, or at least him throwing some cash at the lawsuit, provided he haven’t already. The timing of the profile pic change sure is interesting.
Imagine the pure, seething rage that will just flood #KickVic circles should this theoretical Elon-owned dub studio hire Vic and get the license for Dragon Ball after it is torn away from FUNi’s bloated, rotting corpse.
Sure, it’s a pipe dream, but it’s a funny one. Can’t wait to see PULL screaming about how we all totally believe and expect Elon to save the anime, the West and also trigger the libs, own the libs.

And then Musk leads a secret salvage operation to raise Yamato from the depths of the sea and turns it into a space battleship. Which then is revealed once done that it was raised for a joint effort of Japan and Trump's Space Force further causing a meltdown and mass suicides as they learn troons aren't allowed in the Space Force.
