Slowly digging through all this again (1093 currently)
And the thing that I cannot comprehend is how STUPID these pros are.
They are some of the least competent criminals ever.
If I were to do such obviously quasilegal stuff, I would never do it in digital text (primarily through phone or person) , and I certainly wouldn't do it through social media.
They are so incredibly ignorant they cannot imagine how this is coming back to bite them on the ass with steel teeth.
I cannot wait to see the bredth of discovery, as you know there will be group chats, facebook groups, or whathaveyou that will be uncovered.
And simply deleting them will make it even worse for them, as nothing is ever really gone.

Here's a brief 101 level intro to it:

Does it say that a sworn statement from the plantiff is sufficient evidence needed to shift the burden of proof? It needs to so that we can shut these dumb motherfuckers up who do basic Google research and say "the burden of proof is on the defendant" while also saying that "testimony is evidence".

They're not going to shut up no matter what. You could cite a ton of on-point case law and they'd still be convinced that the law functions they way they want it to function.

Testimony is evidence, by the way. Vic's sworn statement is testimony and the defendants' sworn statements will also be testimony. The preponderance of evidence will ultimately favour one side or the other.

I just thought of something.
Could Vic get a contract with Toei themselves to be the official English voice actor for Broly (and his other roles in Toei properties) for television series, movies, video games, etc. and have a clause that English production companies HAVE to use him?

Suppose I make a public claim that you're a pedophile and say that I will stand by that claim as true because I have proof. If you take me to court, you would make a sworn statement that you aren't a pedophile. Naturally the onus should fall on the person making the claim to prove that it is true.

It would be otherwise impossible for you to prove that you aren't a pedophile unless you want to get testimony from everyone in the world that you did not molest them as a child, get your entire internet history in order to show that you've never looked at anything that might make you a pedophile, etc.

Could you definitely prove that you aren't a murderer? How would you even go about doing that? Suppose you claim that you haven't been arrested for murder. What's to stop the person accusing you from claiming that's just because the police haven't caught you yet?

Little known fact: there's an exception to this if you're in the political sphere. At that time, guilt isn't established by either side, but by which party you're affiliated with, particularly in comparison to the person currently speaking. It's a wild and complex math.

From what Nick said/insinuated Vic was very likely to commit suicide. It had something to do with the accusations being especially degrading and damaging to him for some reason (maybe his faith ? Idk)

No, it's not that. I don't feel like trying to quote it specifically, but Nick heavily hints that their strategy to turn his fans against him is that would kill him. From what I got out of it, Vic has had or currently has certain psychological issues/self esteem issues/something, and the love and support of his fans is as deeply important to him as his love and support is to them. This is why when the accusations went out, the first place he turned was to his fans on his discord. Essentially what Nick is saying is that the plan was to cut Vic off from work and cons so he could no longer interact with current fans and couldn't make more, and then turn all of his online fans against him. Allegedly, according to Nick, using his fans as a weapon against him would so destabilize him that he would more likely than not kill himself.

The fact that Nick is confident in this having only known Vic for two months makes me think this is a very severe and obvious thing that anyone who knows Vic on a personal basis would be able to ascertain.

When the dumb son of a bitch files a TCPA motion to throw the case out, let's ask him what was that bullshit about wanting the truth?

Well, don't you know, he's just trying to protect Vic? He's hiding something so horrible that accusing him of 100s of victims and thousands of assaults would pale in comparison. Or, I guess, he has proof of these thousands of assaults, and that would be worse than him relentlessly accusing Vic on twitter for months.

It was definitely not this much last time I checked, what in the fuck happened that over a hundred pages spawned over like, half a day? Did someone kermit suicide upon realizing how much the lawsuit will cost?
Wait nevermind I’m just a dumbass and checking the farms for fresh things to laugh at as your morning coffee read is not the best idea

Wow so this is happening...
This was one hour ago. Best timeline would be of course, if he filled the warchest so Jamie, Monica, Marzturd, Eldershit and Ren can beg in the streets while ANN and i09 get gawkered. One can but dream.
