So is she getting a wig or planning to bleach her hair?
She won’t be able to do either. For a girl with naturally dark hair to go that light, they’ll have to bleach it in at least two sessions, a week apart, and then tone it to get rid of the yellow. And she’ll need to use a purple shampoo weekly to maintain. That would cost gramma some money.
I can’t imagine any stylist who valued her job agreeing to bleach a balding woman to that extent. The best that can happen is it’ll be delicate and frizzy and more likely, she’ll have breakage and look even more bald. There is already something going on with her hair and scalp, adding bleach is not going to help. Chantele is not a nice understanding girl who will listen to a warning and say, “let’s try it anyway, I understand it may become damaged.” Instead, she’ll probably scream and demand a refund.
And wigs are horribly uncomfortable. If we know anything about Chantel, it’s that she doesn’t tolerate discomfort at all. She’s not going to let her head be hot, itchy and feel like there is a tight band around it for long.
And aren’t there chemicals involved? What about cruelty-free, do they make cruelty-free wigs or is she just going to guess?
I gotta say, I do want to see her buy a wig that doesn’t match her skin tone and watch her video lecture us on whatever, all the while digging her gross fingers between the weft to try and scratch the itching, making it more askew by the minute, until by the end it’s sideways. That’d make me laugh.
