I haven't even played MK after Ultimate MK 3, I'm just a by-stander watching from the outside. I just find it baffling that someone would heavy-handedly insert politics into a series known first and foremost for gratuitous violence. Just keep the series mindless, quick action fun.

I still very much believe SJWs are a thing and a real problem, but I find many of the individuals and communities opposing them to be often just as detestable and rotten themselves. Case in point KiA.

Actually, that sort of quote would fit Shao Khan's character.

His idea of making Outworld great is have it constantly war with other realms, and given how Kotal Khan has been pursuing a policy of trying to do more to actually run what he has and not make a point of taking from everyone else constantly, Shao Khan would see that as Outworld backsliding from it's former glory and he would want to make it "great again".

That doesn't even make it a Trump reference unless you conflate IRL political figures with your fiction as your first thought.

I think the reason why KIA is so much spergier than say the ComicsGate or Weebwars groups is because as spergy as those groups can get, they at least have noteworthy causes and figures that drive them, meanwhile soon after Jim smelled the poop and got the fuck out, GG anally prolapsed, with the Lo-Ping and Kern really being the only remaining major members who aren’t autistic spergs , with many of the “veterans” like MoonmanMatt or Applebees going insane
