To the people saying Barb wont have bail money, she could put her house up but that means Chris has got to show up for court or they would lose the house to the city.
Because that's the part of her hoard that she uses to fetch things for her.Barb wouldn't put up the place that hosts the all-mighty Hoard for the sake of her deadbeat son..why risk the entire hoard to get one smaller part of it back a little quicker?
Well you never know with Chris, but unless it was coincidental, he did lay low for a good amount of time after his last brush with the law. Chris is dumb and entitled, but he's also a massive pussy, if common sense doesn't stop him doing dumb shit, fear will.I think Chris will fail to even process the data in that way. All it will do is strengthen his resolve to get his bans overturned as soon as he's let out and failing that, he'll just barge his way in and do stuff anyway. He's been fanatical about trying to find a girl to bang out Crystal for years. This jihad he has against the blue armed monstrosity will burn on forever.
I am not familiar with the USA penitentiary system, is chriss in a cell with other inmates?
In short, it will look a bit like this.
Could the video court be due to this being the Xmas/New Year period and most staff being on leave? Here's how things will probably work for Chris over the next couple days. This is from personal experience with my family dealing with a crazy guy who has prior assault and trespassing charges.
- Chris will be held until Monday. It is incredibly rare for a Judge to come in on a weekend, and it is unheard of if it's for someone like Chris if he isn't their blood relative.
- A judgement will be made Monday concerning Chris's eligibility for bail. That it is being done by video means that they consider him a danger and/or a courtroom disruption. Considering Chris has priors this may be the beginning of his downfall.
- The pepper spray WILL be the big problem for Chris since my girlfriend, using hers to defend herself, was still detained for 3 hours while her attacker attempted to press charges against her for assault. Pepper spray is taken VERY seriously.
- Even if the judge sets bail it is doubtful that Barb will be able to pay it considering she is on fixed income and his Tugboat may have suddenly sprung a leak.
Barb wouldn't put up the place that hosts the all-mighty Hoard for the sake of her deadbeat son..why risk the entire hoard to get one smaller part of it back a little quicker?
Barb couldn't unload the house in the early 90's when there was a housing boom. No way is she going to sell that charred outhouse in today's market.
This is the first time we have footage of an act that got him arrested. I'm only speaking in terms of Chris vs The Law here. What do you mean "first time"?
So, male or female prison?
If you showed Chris the video and asked him to explain it, he would point at it and go "See! Look at that JERK assault me! I had to defend myself!!" and he would mean it.See, I would LOOOVE to have Chris' side of the story before he finds out people have the video. If it's anything like the Target arrest or Mike Snyder arrest, he'll paint a picture where he's the innocent victim, bullied by some "dumb male" employee as he was already leaving the store, then "slammed to the ground" by some jerkops.
This is the first time that we have empirical evidence that he was not the victim. I wonder if that will change his story at all?
No, it's probably standard for arraignments in the county.Could the video court be due to this being the Xmas/New Year period and most staff being on leave?
Protective custody or solitary just to avoid the inevitable lawsuits that happen when you incarcerate someone who's transgender. So, male or female prison?
Somebody compared the video to watching the Zapruder film in the earlier megathread, and now that its been slowed down, I can't help but think, "Back and to the left... back and to the left."
They do video arraignments when you are crazy or dangerous and can't be brought into a courtroom. He's probably strapped to a bed right now.I can't confirm this, but my understanding is that it's sometimes done with arraignments because it's substantially cheaper than busing the inmates to court for something that individually takes them all of five minutes. And honestly you don't need to be physically present for an arraignment. There's some argument that it may be safer, but I think the only real "safety" factor is that fewer bus trips means fewer chances for a road accident resulting in fake whiplash claims by inmates.
Chris is pretty much the only thing Barb has in life. I don't see why she wouldn't at least throw a fit for her son.why risk the entire hoard to get one smaller part of it back a little quicker?
She wouldn't sell the house. Most like scenario is Barb is forced to used her house as collateral for a (very) high interest loan.Barb couldn't unload the house in the early 90's when there was a housing boom. No way is she going to sell that charred outhouse in today's market.
