we are talking about Chris now , right?

As much as I think that prison could help him , he is still chris.
you are missing an important factor, Chriss is enabled by his mom and other people constantly, noone is going to be nice to him in jail or allow any of his bullshit so he will have two options : man up or get screwed until he hangs himself with his belt/ gets shanked.

HOLY SHIT GUYS IT JUST GOT BETTER.

After Ross mentioned CWC's jail time, this happened:

Oney bought one of the Sonichu medallions. Holy shit my day keeps getting better

apologies if this is rehashing, but this could be great for chris. not even in a "he'll finally learn his lesson!!1!" way. autistic people like structure. his greatest times are when the state set a routine for him and brought him out to socialize. speaking from experience, small town jails ain't too much different than high school. everyone knows each other, every day is exactly the same, and all activity is strictly scheduled. he won't get raped (as funny as the thought is), he'll have a clear routine and rules that he *will* have to comply by, and he'll be away from toys and barb.

plus, plenty of time to exercise and read (without vidya, who knows how desperately bored he'll get) and he'll be required to socialize with other men, which might break his insane tranny delusions.

i'd love to see chris locked up for 5 years and come out some brawny business-minded motherfucker. hey, at this point, sky's the limit.

true.

No time will pass at all if he doesn't have line-of-sight to a clock.

That's the worst part of all. For security reasons they don't have access to see what time it is... Time doesn't really pass.

Your entire day is spent trying to stay busy with cards or games (if allowed) and looking forward to meals just for something to do. Kind of like being on a really shitty and super long flight.

Socialization with others is a life-saver for most people. But I would imagine that's he isn't going to socializing much.

Let me reiliterate:

A 32 years old man with My Little Pony glasses assaulted an employee and facing jail time for a fucking Sonic Blue Arms!

That sentence alone is more surreal than Santa Claus. But here we are now. Also thats "an army" the Facebook group mentioned for gamestop, an army consists of one tomgirl only.

Oh yeah and the forum crashed.

Wow. I'm honestly surprised that Chris ended up in jail. In the other thread I predicted he'd skate again - guess I'd better go down to Whole Foods (where us rich blue-blood trolls shop) and pick up some organic crow to eat.

As far as the "jail could be good for Chris" notion - I'm skeptical. If the jail staff are very patient and forgiving, maybe - but I can see Chris getting trapped in a cycle of freakout -> punishment -> more freakout -> more punishment. As we've seen, he doesn't know how to back down and admit he was wrong, ever.

Considering they spent a shit ton of money trying to defend themselves against Snyder, they're probably going to be penniless trying to fight these new charges. No matter what the outcome may be, they're screwed either way.
They are already penniless. The kind of money they spent on the Snyder incident, they don't have that anymore.

Someone go to the hearing and bring either a tape recorder or set your phone up to covertly record. This is going to be a popcorn-muncher of a hearing.

Going back a bit, I just want to bring this up: While the case would no doubt be entertaining as hell, I'd advise against doing this.

I say that, because in my state if you're headed into a courtroom for whatever reason, you're required to leave all cellphones and possible recording devices (unless authorized, of course) in your vehicle / the front office. If caught, you could be facing some jail time yourself. The law could be different down there, but it's still something that I'd be leery about doing.

It;s going to be a matter of how much his ego will not allow admission of fault on his part overrides his inate cowrdace.

As mentioned about the vid earlier, Chris waits until he's certain of escape before macing somebody who is only going to go call the cops as everybody in the store had been saying was going to happen if Chris didn't leave immediately.

He won't mean a goddamn word he says when he "confesses" to being in the wrong at any time, but if doing so puts him into what he thinks is the more optimal situation, he'll gladly accept being at fault. And if it's out of fear of worse situations as a result of punishment, that's just as much a valid reason as any. In this current situation, he probably thinks it's just going to -at worst- be another instance of the Snyder Trial where aside from a fine and some enforced psychiatry, he's none the worse off.

He has to have some idea of the shit he's gotten himself into by now just by being in jail for more than 24 hours.

And then go right back to doing what he was doing as soon as he thinks everyone's back is turned. That might work on a rotating staff of apathetic retail employees (at least for a while) but I doubt it'll fly in jail. He would have to actually modify his behavior on an ongoing basis, and I'm not sure if that's a possibility.

All those discussions where people said "naw, don't be crazy, Chris knows how to keep himself leashed now, he won't be going to jail again"...

Anyway, I can't really make it out, but is he going to be sitting in jail til his court hearing? Or is he going to get bailed out by a naive church counselor?

I wonder as well if Rocky will come to the rescue again. I would be shocked if she actually helped out again given how he outright criticized her effectiveness as a counselor (i.e. fixing his problems for him without any effort on his part) in that letter and then proceeded to request she distribute the same letter to other members of the congregation. To add insult to injury I believe this was after she helped bail them out but I could be wrong. Fool her one shame on him, fool her twice shame on her.

Well Chris, my brave little sausage, you've done it this time.

He looks like a proper mental case in that video though...god damn. It's like a cross between Carrot Top and Pennywise.

I was thinking more Ben Franklin and Rosie O'Donnell.
