Sure, we're all waiting for the YT video titled "Guys... this is it. Streaming/ YT is over! 10 year legacy gone!" but are we really? Do people really want the reality shitshow that is DSP to end permanently?

Tho I'm unable to recall my previous stand on this subject, if I ever expressed it anyway, I do not enjoy the entertainment. Needless to say his attempt to produce real and ahnest entertainment fails on the entire road, the laugh comes when this greedy swine gets punished by his own lackluster decisions he isn't even aware of (he did nothing wrong and everyone else is at fault), this is my only joy as bad people deserve all the bad things they work for; a beautiful self-fulfilling destiny.
I do not wish to see a sincerely bad person like Phil surviving, my sense for justice is too strong to put my own needs or the existence of a community over him. I won't shed a tear when everything here falls apart, but I will applaud when this pigroach reaches the end of his road.

I wish for him an experience which makes his imprinted behavior STOP. If this means he loses everything, gets homeless, [things far worse], or simply wakes up from his slumber and shifts 180° is irrelevant. The current Phil just has to stop, that's all I'm asking for. The cancer on society, the guy who drills holes in his boat, won't get away when people repair his damage unironically or with intend. "You" people with the tape of fixing-shekels enable shitheads like him, "you" allow him to suck money of the ones who are too stupid or young to recognize what's happening, "you" are worse than those poor stupids as "you" know very well all the wrong shit he's doing and support it.

Building on this (and, I believe, echoing @actually and their eloquent thoughts on the matter), DSP being laid low would be the entertainment I'm looking for from this particular lolcow. He doesn't have the manic episodes Chantal does, or Christine's exceptional flights of fancy on Twitter. Comparatively he's very boring as a cow in my opinion - it's mostly his revisionist history and chronic dishonesty that makes me laugh but, call me desensitized, that's just not enough for me. I need something more visceral.

Again, not dead. Not destitute. Not stage-four or prediabetic. Just humbled. I want this 10-year morality play to finally come to its logical end. I want the karmic backlash. Fuck, I'm not too proud to admit that some days after reading about the latest eleven year-old he smacktalked or scam he's pulled, I need it. I just want the ten years' worth of crow he's been setting aside to finally be the only thing left in his cupboard, and because he's built his livelihood on the internet, he has no choice but to fire up the 480p camera, take a seat on the jizz couch, and chow down in front of us all.

While there isn't really a course correction, he did everything in his power to get irrelevant and being hated, an impressive combination. He had his chances and threw everything under the bus. A very busy bus if you ask me.

How more self sabotaging can you get? He had his Poorly Cooking With The King, Ask The King and other vlogs, his reviews which were his subjectively best content, Project 7 and other vids with the crew or this shitty Christmas carol with the masked troll. It was bad but HELL was he motivated. He killed everything little by little and therefore killed everything legit potentially interesting he could profit of, but Twitch is waaaaay easier and makes more money so he chose the route of least resistence. Tbf he is not entirely wrong there, the gain-effort-ratio is fucked up, however this won't make him more interesting as a result.
Worse, he sank into his couch, got even more boring, silent and massively uninspired, let the chat handhold him through everything and now you have to ask yourself what is there other than his random ego-driven rants? He is so boring and/or unwatchable that not even TIHYDPs can save him, he potatoes himself into oblivion; probably partly on purpose as he's only interested in occasional short term big whales and their money, not in views, bonds with the audience and long term thinking.

Currently it's fascinating to see how even lower and more pathetic he can get. Even so there is not much left to dig down, but feel free to get surprised by the wizard of procrastination, he will spell a way into the unknown obscurity.

I think Phil blindly stumbled across a piece of media popular with autists and managed to rope one into paying for the privilege of writing him a strategy guide. It had less to do with Papavera wanting to see him succeed specifically and more to do with him wanting to see the game played "properly". I don't think he's shown a similar level of (special ) interest in anything else Phil plays.

God help us if Phil decides to throw Pokemon into his chill rotation. Retards will come out of the woodwork and with his level of ineptitude he'll be a millionaire in weeks.

It is torture. I like making a new Minecraft world every few years and play for a few months, albeit on PC with a fuck ton of mods, because that's the only real way to play the game, imo.

Watching Dave play the worst version of the game when he owns the PC version (even mobile has the benefit of it fitting in your pocket, which console doesn't) and flail about, build the most uninspired shit entirely out of cobblestone, fail at both navigation and pathmaking every time he possibly can, and a multitude of other things is nothing short of frustrating to watch. Then he wastes time doing the most mundane shit in fishing at his ugly, single block-wide, winding "pier" or harvesting his hideous, disorganized "farm" (that should be automated with redstone he refuses to learn) and it's the first time I've ever felt like I could say someone is actually playing Minecraft wrong.

Exploration, building, resource gathering, navigating, it doesn't matter what he's doing, it's all wrong and boring. I really don't see what Papavera gets out of watching DSP fail to follow his instructions correctly and act confused when something isn't explicitly printed on the label while simultaneously being a hair trigger away from flipping shit and calling you an idiot for failing to tell him in the words he wanted you to use what exactly to do.

The only thing even remotely enjoyable about the MC streams are the rants.

Holy fuck I had no idea this actually existed. The fact that people, in order to discuss the stream properly, have to watch another stream, should've been this biggest warning bells that he is obviously doing something wrong.

Anyone with a normal, healthy brain would realise what they're doing wrong if people mocking them gets more views/engagement then your own produced content.
