I agree with the decision to delete his page, however, I still think how Wikipedia operates is an absolutely corrupt joke.
Some guy says, "delete this". They put it up for a "vote", that barely anybody knows is happening. A mere three people say, "Yeah, delete this." And then a mod comes around and does it. All these people including the mod could be be friends in a clique for all we know, and that's considered acceptable.

During the days of Gaymergate the wikipedia editor who famously controlled the Gamergate article used all sorts of tactics. Famously using 14 sockpuppets at once can somehow revert edits/lock accounts or some bullshit. That guy, Ryulong got away with accepting money for controlling the narrative on Gamergate for ages until /r/kotakuinaction sperging eventually caused Jimbo Wales the founder of wikipedia his shit and ban the guy.

Guys like Spoony guard their every interaction with others (both friend and foe) and scan for ego attacks and badthink, banning even the slightest thing that might cause offense. People who interact with such speds quickly learn to censor their own speech in fear of "losing a friend." Or they'll think "This person depends on me. If I were to say something that made them push me away, it would be MY fault if anything bad happened to them as a result."

In other words, Spoony is a toxic person who is his own worst enemy, and his friends aren't doing him any favors by coddling him.

Despite it all, I still find myself going back to watch his reviews of Highlander: The Source and the Wendys training videos whenever I'm in need of a good laugh.

The former is a goddamned masterpiece example of cinematic takedown if you ask me, and as a longtime Highlander fan, that movie needed and outright deserved a merciless roasting of that caliber. He avenged us, and for that I have to give him credit.
