Just a reminder: these people claim to be on the right side of history.

  1. The KKK thought they were.
  2. The Nazi's thought they were.
  3. North Korea thinks it is
  4. Nobunaga thought he was.
  5. Mordred thought she was.
gee. that's a lotta evil that thinks it was actually the good guy in the grand story called life & history.

it's almost like self-righteous pricks always are on the wrong side of history and don't realize it until it's far too late.
nobunaga led to the first steps on japanese reunification during a time of war, read a fucking book instead of going by the story of musou games ,faggot

Khmer Rouge, Mao the Pun, Infidel Castro, Kookamamie, Ghadaffy.

I miss Nuclear war.

not really. the only real thing was he set up the people who would. that's it.
I mean to be fair, it could be argued that without him, they never would've been able to pull it off but still.

You guys better watch out, she might fundraise an attorney to come after you. She's been highly successful doing so in the past.

While I agree that Nobunaga's actions are not really aplicable to his other examples, the guy was not exactly good, certainly not bad, but like any general in a conflict nuance is important.

Mind you he is still my second favorite Japanese, just after Eichiro Oda.

Holy shit what a complete and utter failure. Even Jake Alley manages to get crowdfunding to shit himself and do nothing better.

He liked guns, liked Christianity, and had a black man as a samurai. Dude was practically the first American from Japan. Though I do agree that some of Nobunaga's actions are in the morally gray area.

flayed a monk and burned the rest in their ancestral home because he didn't like how the rice was prepared.

Sounds like the kind of person to wreck a fast food joint because its after 1030 or they're out of X or don't give Y amount of sauce. Or wreck the place and then call 911 to report the place for "crimes".

i wonder why she uses $200 as the goal, looks like it might be the same few people donating too.
Not sure. It's well below the threshold for smurfing.

He did set the others and basically ruined the people that could have stopped the unification of Japan if my memory doesn't fail me, the monks were the third strongest political power in the region, Nobunaga fighting against them labeled him a Demon, but it also weakened the monks influence enough so they didn't interfere during the unification, mind you I may have some things wrong, Japanese history is not my best subject.

I actually knew about and liked Marzgurl's reviews back in the days of earlier this decade. I liked her Land Before Time reviews and Translation Terrors. I also liked that she enjoyed obscure Japanese video games as well, which seem to be unpopular compared to Nintendo and Western AAA games. And Japanese cartoons. It's sad to see her end up like this when she's seemingly out of career options.

Mind you that may be an exageration or propaganda, the temples in that time were very influential and corrupt, there are some theories that say Nobunaga was vilified due to being against the monks of that time, also the guy was a globalist, he felt Japan had to unify as a nation because it was so small compared to the rest of the world, guy was cool, IMO.
