What will likely happen from this: she will lie. She will say she went to the lawyer, and that she has a solid case, but will need more money to serve all those she's going after (similar to Ty claiming 2mil for everyone and Nick pushing the goalpost back a to accommodate). She will pocket all the money and run.

Expect to see a lawyer friend of MarzGurl appear sometime in the near future to validate this saying "they will be in touch". They won't, because they're incredibly bad at this. We've already seen tweets from said friends' firm in regards to hiring the PI, so don't be surprised if the "lawyer" happens to show up soon.

After a few weeks, she will update the GFM, saying her legal firm couldn't actually locate YF to serve him papers, and close the campaign.

She's parroting Vic's campaign, but at a laughably bad level.

It's sad a genuinely exceptional person can't get an oil change or save their cat, but they can get the money to hire a lawyer for a lolsuit.

It's because this is another proxy battle for the stupid internet culture war. Nobody cares about Marzgurl but they'll throw some money her way if she'll go after someone they hate (and to be fair this is true for Vic's GFM as well to some extend). If she traps herself in an unwinnable lawsuit and buries herself in legal fees so what, at least they inconvenienced a Youtuber that was mean to them.

1. D. C. Douglas raised awareness, something Marzgurl was unable to accomplish on her own. Once again I want to point out that - like her GFM page - it probably has to do with the fact that Douglas doesn't mention any details, just saying "oh well she's being harassed for defending people please give her money (not me though)"

2. The goal is hilariously low for what is actually needed for a proper lolsuit. This was only the initial retainer fee. Let's see how well this GFM goes when she raises that goal by another $40,000+. Admittedly I dunno how much it'd cost for a lolsuit like this (although I imagine it's less than Vic's by a lot, considering it's suing a couple random nobodies instead of coworkers and an employer) but I can certainly say it will be a number much more intimidating, and a lot less likely to get reached.

I’m not sure how big a charge it is but that screenshot is evidence that she knowingly shipped a li-ion battery in an actively discharging state, probably without the proper hazard sticker as well. That’s a giant postal no-no.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure lithium ion batteries for consumer-grade electronics are perfectly fine to mail domestically if they're packed inside of (or with) an electronic device.

It's if you're mailing them internationally, or if you're mailing just batteries without any electronic equipment to go with it, that you can't just send them by regular mail.

Also note the 'why' of Vic's lawsuit. TI is very serious and this affects his ability to obtain further contracts for projects from here until the end of time. There aren't many anime voice-over studios in the US, and a couple that do exist fired him, so there are now fewer to obtain work from.

MarzGurl's lolsuit is about one guy making YouTube videos about what she said and pointing out the hypocrisy. There is no TI in this because she still streams regularly and contributes to web journalism.

One of the funniest things to me about this whole situation is that it's basically out in the open that Vic does hook up with adult women frequently at cons and must be leaving highly satisfied customers in his wake. Iirc correctly during the height of #metoo there were tons of accusations like, "I sucked his dick and then he refused to eat me out! She says she wants to sue multiple targets and I bet BHBH is going to shift tactics and go for her next. She is the most destructive force right now and needs to shut the hell up. Iago can wait unfortunately. But honey, the cost of what she wants to do given everything will easily pass $80k. TUG, Yellowflash, Nick, and defending her own lawsuit. Probably 120k of she gets hit by an anti-SLAPP and has to pay those fees. Probably will owe over $200k by the end of this.

I don't know what she's thinking as when you look at the bigger picture what is she gaining out of this? Oh that some people were making fun of her on YouTube. She's not even going to have a YouTube channel by the end of this. She's clearly lying about something but her lawyer either doesn't care or will be livid when he finds out what she want to do knowing she is getting sued. You don't sue people over stupid things.

1.5k is a lot of money to her. More than she makes in a week or hell maybe even a month. I would not be surprised if her greed kicks in seeing that 20k and not going for a lawsuit. I think most of us would take the money and run over a petty YouTuber lawsuit. Easy as you just say you need it for defense legal fees that are upcoming.

Oh my goodness. It's exactly like they always described Vic's horrible acts.
He put his hands on her without permission, touched her "inappropriately" IN FRONT ON EVERYONE and no one did anything to prevent it! Why oh why did they just watch him fingerbang this poor child in front of everyone? Where was the con staff? Why didn't anyone call the police? They even SANG A SONG?
