Ok, neutral thoughts here: That's actually a really neat trick. Wonder if you could run an app that pings upon the lock screen being accessed or the light sensor being tripped.

I'd assume they installed one of those "find my phone" apps with features like that.

You can do all kinds of things. I've seen a neat app that tricks them into looking at the front screen then snaps a picture of them.

Or set off a piercing alarm that just goes off constantly.

Or locks the phone and has it wipe itself.

We saw this exact same thing happen with Comicsgate. Ya Boi Zack's crowdfunder for Jawbreakers got $404,913 with a complete media blackout. No comic pros, websites, or anyone advertised it or even talked about it at all, not even trashing it as to not give it any attention. It was all fellow comic YouTubers and word of mouth. Only after funding ended did everyone come out of the woodwork trashing Zack, calling his book shit, scum, all that. I'm not even going to mention Iron Sights, Zack's legal fees, or the current Jawbreakers remastered IGGs which have all also been extremely successful.

Meanwhile his enemies like Kwanzer, Renfamous, and all them make Kickstarters of their own which get shilled the hell out by all the main comic websites, other sites like Vice and Buzzfeed, and comic pros themselves, and only make between 30-40K. It's ridiculous how bad these people can fail when multiple industries and "big names" are standing behind them while a random dude on the internet con constantly out dunk you every time.

I expect we'll see the same here. Prepare for a CBR, Bleedingcool, Vice, Polygon, maybe ANN shilling MarzGurl's little Kickstarer like hell, along with all these people like Movie Blob and W.C Douglas yet not even come anywhere close to the traction or amount Vic raised for his own. I'd laugh if it wasn't so pathetic.

Android phones, as standard, allow you to log into your google account on any device and check the GPS location. Don't even need to install additional apps.

If past experience of being that fucking poor has taught me anything, it'll be need that gets to her. Automotive transmissions are connected to the global banking network. That's why they always explode just as you're beginning to dig yourself out of a hole. They detect the influx of cash and a banker at Goldman Sachs personally triggers the firing circuit in your transmission because fuck you for being poor.

I know that feel, save up money for my first vacation in years and within the span of 3 months the car shat itself, the cat got sick and then the oven blew up. Oh well maybe next year.

Actually reminds me of Kirby Morrow at cons in the mid 2000s. Sometimes he would be asked to kiss a fan's hand and ask if they would bear his children. This is of course him doing his character Miroku from Inuyasha. Said character is a lecherous monk who had a habit of asking women throughout the anime if he could essentially impregnate them.

Nowadays that shit would be too "offensive" at cons and he'd get billed a sexual harasser.

Well, while I can agree with the whole not wanting to take a stance on it because you don't wanna push agendas and all that other BS, the takes by good ol' Lani and Kaiser are not particularly good ones here.

Considering their content is 90% DB based, you'd think they'd be a little more open to discussion, either that or they know what they would say would piss off the most people.

EDIT: Frankly, they should be concerned. Cause if Toei takes the license from Funi, you know damn well they are gonna nuke TFS.
