I think it was a mistake for Kaylyn to go after her critics and investigate Vic's family, but... doxing people who stir shit in public (umbrella and yellowflash) doesn't bother me at all. What's with the dox outrage against Marzgurl? Even Nick was kind of chastising her for this. People are acting like anonymity is protected by the bill of rights or something.
You're talking here like we're outraged of Armz trying to dox, when it's the normies out there. Nick has said he doesn't like the doxes released from this site and broadcasting it, but understands it's not illegal and if anything illegal does come from it; it's on the person that commits the crime.

i think its more the dumbass reason. dumb cunt wants to dox those people so she can pretend to sue them (or god forbid actually open a lolsuit and fail).
Probably the opposite: I think she's just pretending to sue YF so she can dox him. Because if SHE'S made a public spectacle of herself, it's only fair that everyone else has to, also.

EDIT: On a related note, do anti-SLAPP motions prevent the court from releasing the defendant's personal info? Or is it just a quick/cheap way to have a suit dismissed?

That suck-up tweet doesn't help, either. Newsflash, Keikaku Kat! You're not having an opinion of your own! You're part of a buttfucking hive mind, you tard!
What gets me about that tweet is that Zac doesn't give a shit about anime either. To be fair neither do I besides things like Dragon Ball or whatever. But then again I don't run Anime News Network. So I don't get this high horse they're on nor do I see how MarzGurl going after people who make fun of her saving anime.

To be fair, that's a great way to get Dox, if you can get people to pay for it. The court system will be able to find YF via Youtube and his ISP.

She can go after them all she wants but if she doesn't have a good argument she'll lose fast enough. Calling someone pathetic is not defamation, calling someone a predator is. Maybe this will be the failure that finally through her bloated head.

And then has to pay for both her and Flash's legal fees when she gets SLAPP'd. $75k for one dude's dox ayyyy.

I mean, We can just pay @emspex with cute doggo pictures and she can track someone down.

Do we know he's in the states? That's been bugging me for a while. And I've only seen two of his videos so far. It'd be kinda funny if he turned out to be in Canada or something.

Are you suggesting that she's trying to waste the court's time doing what she could have hired a PI to do?

HeroHei got his channel DMCAed for that critique of ANN's interview with Vic. He's filing a counterclaim, but Rackets and Hei think this was an attempt to get Hei's dox. You have to provide it to file the counterclaim.

What a dirty trick.

Guess we know what video Christopher Macdonald was talking about when he said he was filing a claim against a YouTube video.

Not sure if it's to dox him or ANN are just that petty. Pretty big if the CEO of Anime News Network is getting in on this dox train.

Fixed.

Twitter apparently doesn't allow him to use his full name.
Macdonald, why don't you go by "Chris Macdonald" on Twitter, you sped?

It's a pretty well-known doxing method. That's how the Rominos got Jim Sterlings dox. And you can BET these fuckers know about Jim Sterling. (Oh, but it's a shame if it happens to him. lol)

But to be fair, there's too many DMCA false flaggers to confirm that connection. And there's a wealth of other videos someone like that would be DMCAing.

EDIT:
They can request the boxholder information that they have to submit to the post office regarding litigation or pending litigation. If her attorney was worth a shit he would know
https://about.usps.com/handbooks/as353/as353c5_002.htm
Just skimming over it, it looks like you need to be an attorney or pro-se claimant already (with an extant courthouse selected for the trial, etc.) So that would explain the $1500 retainer if the lawyer is just filing frivilously to help her unmask the dangerous youtube man who said mean things.

EDIT AGAIN: So... maybe we should be on the look-out for a Marzgurl v. John Doe case? It may be a catch-22. They don't know where he lives, so they can't show any court that it has jurisdiction. And to show that, they have to get the case in front of a judge. Instructions unclear. Dick stuck in retainer.

Edit... I've read dozens of tweets like this, where people are implying she broke some law...

Honestly, I don't have much problem with her doxing YF inherently. The issue I have is with the context of the situation. You have to bear in mind that Marzgurl and the others are the exact same people who flipped their shit and went on a moral brigade after Dominique Skye's fat plastic ass got doxed here (and notably haven't said shit when anyone else prior or since has also been doxed).

It's always this awful, horrible thing that no decent person would ever do until it becomes something they can use to get what they want. Then they usually play it off as "well this doesn't count as doxing", although surprisingly Marzgurl went straight into blatantly asking the world to dox YF for her. It's hypocritical to the point of being staggering.

Because it is no longer just Yellow Flash. Look at her GoFundMe, she talks about "several individuals." This may or may not include Nick Rekieta. We have no idea of the full extent of who she plans to go after, if she can afford to do so.

I honestly don't know what she hopes to achieve by doing this. She would have to prove damages for such a lawsuit. What damages did she get from all of this? She was probably damaged way before this because of the Channel Awesome shit and that she can't even pay for medical assistance for her cat. Nevermind that all of the malice, libel and credibility-challenging information she posted on the internet has been sent to YF and Nick. What fucking firm accepted this shit, the Landau Group?

Someone did attempt to dox HeroHei's Tail Tavern Discord server at one point while he was streaming.

I think its more than that. She has to prove they were lying, which will be hard for her since they were using her own words to make fun of her.
