Local news: People being petty over the internet. This really isn't anything new. How many times have you seen posts of people joking about wanting to beat someone else over show spoilers? Pretty often. I think it's pretty much known as a joke so far. I doubt someone is going to be hurt and even then if someone was crazy enough to do it people would find it distasteful.

I would ask if these people think that these things would be acceptable outside of the internet, but I think I answered that question for myself already.

When you see people bragging how much a ""moral person"" they are for being against "icky stuff" in fiction, they either virtue signaling of hiding skeletons in their closet or mentally can't tell what's real or fake. Because it's 100% "normal" to harass others over making GrOSs cOnTenT they hate, really making a impact in society by protecting those poor fictional characters~

Also gotta love these type of posts where they mean not to includes violence, gore, and guro porn content due to years debunking that violence media don't cause people to become violence and studies shows this type of content don't increases crimes. The same logic, facts and studies can be apply to other taboo/problematic content but tumblrinas, woke twitter, and antis would never acknowledge this cause they don't want to be seen wrong.

In regards to pedophilia, depending on the context, I may feel wary about whoever wrote it, but without proof they've ever done anything for real, it's better to spend your time calling out all the self-confessed "MAPs" that hang out on the site.

But, knowing Tumblr they're probably putting books that portray pedophiles as villainous and their actions as horrific and damaging in the same camp as lolicon porn made by a neckbeard that just wants to jerk off.

there's a difference between looking at gore and looking at explicit loli fanart. i agree that antis can go way too far sometimes, but people drawing sexual fanart of 12 year olds is in fact weird.

Okay, I finally had the stomach to read these pages through and this is the definitive affirmation of what we thought: Greg is a pedophile, because there is no other explanation to this mess.

No sane adult would say that it's completely normal for a 16yo to find a 12yo attractive, because 12yo look like children, they are pudgy, and have weird long limbs, their voice is changing and keeps breaking, and even when they are simply standing they look awkward as fuck.

16yo girls are hired to be 12yos babysitters, and they see them as children. Never in my life I've ever talked to a girl of that age that thought a child was sexy or even worth her time. Girls that age usually run after guys older than them, not kids that could be their little brothers.

This actually sheds a lot of light on how much in danger his children are: if him and Taylor were to get a babysitter for whatever reason, and said babysitter would abuse the kids, Greg would probably find it sexy and say that the children actually wanted it, that they deserved it because they were dressed up 'too sexy' or other rapist shit.

Hit the nail on the head. Contrary to its truth as a crime thriller from the perspective of an unreliable narrator, a lot of people on tumblr want Lolita banned everywhere because they see it as a wank fic.
