And what does that tell you? That furries are absolutely, insanely moronic. They would rather pay 500-1000 dollars to get shit-tier garbage from Miles-DF and Jason just because "THEY'RE POPULAR SENPAI!!11!11!" instead of pay someone a fraction of that to get something which someone actually puts effort into, who actually cares about their clients and fans. This is why people like Jason take advantage of furries, because they are the most batshit insanely financially irresponsible individuals on the face of the fucking planet who are thirsty af. And they seriously wonder why people make fun of them? Besides you know....the 1000 other reasons.

It's typical for people's Patreon accounts to nosedive at the beginning of the month, as people's Debit and Credit Cards get declined from overdraft, low balance, being maxed out, etc. That aside, it's worth noting that she has indeed lost quite a few Patrons since completing her last comic, which many not even necessarily be JUST because she finished her "final furry comic" and now people are getting the fuck out of dodge. It could also be because she had the audacity to upload 5 fucking pages in one day, along with ANOTHER picture, charging her Patreons a grand total of six times in a single day.

I have roughly the same number of patrons as her. Don't pay attention to the graph line at all; look at that red number at the bottom. Losing 16% of your patrons over one month is not normal, even with declines. Decline rates average around .50-.70%, which doesn't remove the patron from your patreon. You'll find a -5% to +5% percental average for other creators on graphtreon if it's not rising. She's down sixteen percent.

Again, charging them so much in one day is a terrible decision. I had a friend that supported her before she and Jason went way too far off the deep end and he stopped supporting because the way she uploads all at once ended up charging him far too much. This is the main reason for her losing supporters. Even the fans that still care about her are likely to back out of that shit sooner or later because of her uploading practices.

It's like Supreme exactly. They buy a character reference they can visible see, and know that they can show other artists for them to copy. Nobody re-invents an OC; they only redraw reference in their own style. The first reference is crucial.

Look at it. It's a brown lion. But every inch is predetermined and liked by the person who bought it. Imagine telling a new artist without reference to draw "a brown lion". It could end up bara, feminine, lean and boring. At least in this way they know exactly what other artists are gonna try to replicate.

Off-topic but once more bringing up Sukebepanda; one of the fan art brigades she participated in was basically what defined this random dude's new shark character. All these $200-300 range artists drawing something to the point nobody else can ever draw it wrong. That's what he paid $500 for, regardless how stupid it is.

Thing is, they can get a ref done or make on themselves. Just work with an artist who isn’t worried more about getting shit done as much as they are getting shit right, and you’ll be fine.
