With TFS stuff, though...
FUNi are super buddy-buds with them, especially Sabat. FUNi tried to employ them in projects several times, every time they're claimed on YouTube, it is Toei's doing and I don't think there ever was an incident with FUNi being the one to cast down a copyright claim.
I'd figure the extend to which FUNi can shield TFS is not attacking them the way their license provider does.
I know a lot of the actors at funi hate them, Schemmel being the big one, and I'm not sure if it's funi liking them so much as they realize tfs is not only more popular than them, so going after them would end poorly, but they're also literally free advertising.

If nothing is happening, you don't have to post anything.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with this topic not gaining 30 pages a day as we basically wait until either things proceed with the lawsuit or Marzgurl/Toye do something monumentally stupid again.

We know Sabat manages DBZ casting, mostly. We know, now, that Sabat's a little bitch who's in on this parade of chucklefucks trying to sink Vic. We know Japanese are autistic about voice actors staying the same.
It's a fair assumption to make that Vic wasn't a cast made by Sabat, but one Toei made.
It was Mike McFarland who originally cast him in the first Broly movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if Toei made them reuse Vic for the new Super movie while Sabat wanted to recast with one of his cronies.

There was a weirdly long period of time where Vic wasn't announced for the movie and people wondered if he had quit the character because it's rough on his voice. Even after the first dub trailer came out his name wasn't attached, and Sabat made some tweet praising all the movie's lead VAs and Vic was noticeably missing.

Vic finally hinted at Realms con in September 2018 that he would be Broly again, but that was long after everyone else iirc. There's video of it here:

I know this is a bit late but there was some chatter about Vic not hugging people at this last convention. I don't twitter but I'm wondering if anybody checked out other guests of the convention to contrast and compare their behaviour? Might be new policies put in place.

I dug up an article where some voice actors say that once he had been cast in the role of Broly, this basically secured him as the character in all future projects. They mention being careful in casting even characters with a handful of lines on the off-chance they become bigger players and future projects, because they will have to use the same VA.

However no indication on whether this is because of a Funi policy or a Toei policy that causes this to be the case.

Was the Beard with him? If not, that might explain why he didn't feel comfortable hugging the womens in comparison to Kamehacon.

We are really running out of material to post. Has anyone checked on RT staff, they usually post cringe on a daily basis.

Just sit back and relax. It's gonna be glorious.

It's not just with Vic, Star Wars Celebration itself had similar policies put into place that involved no unsolicited or harassing photos, no unwarranted touching or physically harrassive behavior, blah blah blah same old crap. These kind of rules are going to be implemented more and more as time goes on with these types of businesses. And with the accusations spouted at Vic (and frankly, more and more personalities) this isn't surprising.
