Why is it that every one of these snowflakes fall into one of the following if not all:
-Uses a label for their gender
-Uses an anime pic (usually a girl)
-Has a blog/writes

Here's a secret: they aren't really writing. As someone who took it up as a hobby (I probably should get back to it given what I'm wasting my time on), you don't have time to be sperging out on Twitter of all places. That shit takes hours to get anything done. And for a good article even I'd say you need 20 hours at the very least. 10 hours of research prep, 4-6 hours to write the article, and 3-4 hours of editing time at the very least. If you're on Twitter a lot, you're not a very good writer.

Late response but its simple, they have nothing else really in life, they find a platform and latch onto a set group, build up a reputation around their sexuality or life as an SJW (while often also latching onto a fanbase i.e anime/games) and any opposing opinion they disregard because they dont live in the real world while their echo chamber ass pats them and signal boosts their warped views, thats why you see a load of these people talking on behalf of black, trans, women, disabled people, because they already have it it their head that THEY are the voice of these groups.

They're just sad little people that have no worth in this world so any attention is good attention.

There is already another english dub of DB Super being produced by Bang Zoom. It is licensed to English Speaking Asian countries. Toei could just license the Bang Zoom dub to more countries and cut ties with Funimation.

That's what's been confusing me the most, out of everyone's reactions to Nick.

As far as I've seen, Rackets has been behaving exceedingly well for a lawyer in all the ways that it matters for a lawyer to behave. Of course, I say that I'm confused, but I'm not really. I know it's the fact that they have no actual standards and they decide what is and is not correct behavior simply on what helps push their awful religion that allows for no repentance or forgiveness, just small stint of invincibility until you're no longer useful to the cause.

I'm not sure when our society decided that every lawyer was some kind of upstanding citizen and definitely not generally some kind of specialized sociopathic lampreys in human form that occasionally walk amongst us. From what I've seen, society has most definitely NOT decided that every lawyer is a goody-two-shoes lawman. I'm pretty sure the general depiction of actual lawyers is crafty at best, sleaze at worst. Ace Attorney has a somewhat more favorable depiction of lawyers, but that's fairly niche in the grand scheme of things (and some of the lawyers in that series try to get away of all sorts of awful shit too).

My assumption (ignoring those who are just saying it for bad faith argument) is that people think Nick is not being ideal because lawyers should be well versed in the law, and should be shining examples of following the law. Here's the problem - these idiots don't know the law, and think that being rude on twitter is a criminal act (or that it should be). As such, Nick is being a bad example for all those competent thinking adults impressionable children that make up his fanbase.

Nothing. That's why the thread is mainly twitter retardation. Some time this week (today or tomorrow?), Monica Rial and Ron Toye have to respond in some way to the suit. Some time after that, the other parties including Funimation have to reply. Funimation has the latest deadline because of the vagaries of out of state service (they had to serve them through the Secretary of State because they don't have an in state registered agent. . .assholes).

I could see the non-Funimation parties filing some kind of placeholder blanket denial while waiting to see what Funimation does.

Other fun facts for you:

It was to be held at Bowlers "Events Centre" in Manchester.

Said Events Centre is in the middle of an industrial estate and is made up of a pair of draughty, echoy to all hell and back warehouses on an estate they couldn't find any other use of for them.

It is not a particularly nice venue and there's other, better and smaller ones they could've used as a first time con with only two guests. (Manchester Metro Uni, for a start).

Bowlers has zero public transport infastructure around it (because LOL, industrial estate) and your nearest station is Trafford Park some 2 miles away across multiple busy roads covered in trucks and other heavy traffic which only slackens slightly at the weekend. Again, Metro U by comparison has 2 railway stations, one on the Manchester Metro and one national rail network within easy walking distance because it's a University.

TLDR is Kamehacon was badly organised from the start and losing one guest (out of your two) made the entire event not worth having and was put in a shit place by whatever idiot was trying to make this happen.

Oh, and this is also the first time I've even heard there was to be a Kamehacon UK, so tells you how well known it was.
