Not going to mention names yet but if you are familiar with the North Jersey Videogame Reseller Community, you might know who I am talking about.
This person came on the radar through a local puff pice that was written about them running a business while having dyspraxia. This person's business is reselling video games and related merchandise. In the early years this consisted of selling at conventions and flea markets with the master goal of possessing a store space.
Conventions eventually got dropped after AVGC 2017 when said person sprained their foot while loading in. Apparently they were banned from AVGC (person will deny this vehemently). After this they focused on flea markets until this year when they were able to secure a store space (with two other owners).
In the mean time the person gained a negative reputation within the community. Due to their stubbornness and inability to reply to messages in a timely fashion, they burned numerous people who now branded them as a thief and a liar. These people and other competitors form the backbone of his "haters". that this person complains about and thinks is about to ruin his store (It looks like the potential careercow is going to do it just fine on their own).
That's not the only thing they complain about. They also complain about sports teams, daddy issues, hometown gossipers, having arthritis 40 years early from the con fall, how expensive the rent is in North Jersey and having to work for other people just to name a few.
Earlier today this person had a chimpout when a FB group had a member ask about the new store. Long story short they blocked numerous people (including so called close friends) and are threatening us with a lolsuit. Oh and they complained how they haters have been doing this for years and people should come into the store for themselves.
Does anybody think this could have Careercow potential?
 
It's been a while since I've seen this one but he ticks enough boxes and he's not someone I feel any sympathy for.

Used to be on friendly terms with this guy. He's like 5-6 years my junior. Male nurse/pharma school student. He's fat, bi, is a furry, is a Goon, is an AnCom, is a weeb and likes dumb shit (some of this dumb shit I also happen to like). When I was still involved with my last girlfriend he really really wanted to be poly with us. Girlfriend flatly rejected the idea and I concurred, but he still had a massive crush on both of us, made menage-a-trois jokes, mentioned in passing that he uses magnum condoms. He was well-to-do, certainly better off than either of us, but lived in his parents' house, basement-level room. I don't think he'd be up to Farms standards for lolcowdom and he's pretty quiet on social media these days anyway from what I understand, but as far as me and my GF were concerned this dude was a walking joke. Would whine about his weight, then when told to exercise would complain that his ankle was bothering him or whatever. That kind of shit.

EDIT: He's also had crossover with at least one documented cow.

I keep wanting to chime in on a number of threads but I don't really have anything to add other than "X was a passing acquaintance at one point" or "I briefly talked with X/a friend encountered X repeatedly/I kind of knew X's boyfriend/girlfriend" stuff without any good archived stuff to go with it (because we're talking stuff that happened years ago before I knew the Farms even existed). I don't want to crap up threads with what basically amounts to shooting the shit.

For a writer he seems to be pretty talented at mixing up "I'll" and "I'd," as well as using ellipses in a (admittedly popular) completely improper manner.

The script itself radiates pure "we live in a society" energy.

From what I've seen and heard, all his scripts have that vibe. IIRC, my source told me he wrote one character saying "We live in a society" verbatim in the first draft.

So where do I begin...

I was friends with this person, and boy have my standards for friends improved since then. There were red flags from the beginning, such as self-diagnosing anything you learn from psychology 101, self-admitted SJW, Troon...basically anything that could be used for "oppression points" they were that. Not to mention they were a huge weeb who thinks daddy jokes are funny.

I think one of my favorite things they said was that they were a psychologist because they declared a psychology major in college. Nowadays they whine about "neurotypicals" on social media.

After a while, I had enough. I kicked them off the discord server I ran. They kept talking about abusing and selling drugs, about how they took so much vitamins or something to try and kill themselves, were upset they couldn't talk about their support for Antifa. Well, they didn't like my decision so I was sent some amazing messages such as a personal suicide note for me and how they trusted me, and if I hadn't kicked them, they wouldn't have killed themselves. This happened a year and a half ago and from my knowledge they are still alive and kicking.

They still check my social media, and they screech on twitter to a crowd of like 17 people.

So recently, I found out a kid who I shared a couple of classes with back in high school is now some Juice WRLD clone on Soundcloud, and it’s gotten to the point to where he’s gained weight just to look like him. Me and a friend listened to some of his tracks and unsurprisingly, they’re all absolute shit. The best way I can describe it is if China manufactured a rip-off named “Jews World” and sprinkled some melamine Autotune to make it look up to standard.

He’s also on the sex offender list. How surprising.

Scumbag Steve was what i called him, since I didn't give enough of a shit to learn his last name.

Dude was a guy in my old neighborhood about 5 years ago. Scumbag Steve had your typical cow traits: early 40s, still lived with Mommy, NEET, refused to work, stayed inside all day smoking weed and playing vidya. He couldn't even do his own laundry, mommy washed her 40-something year old son's undies for him.

Steve dressed and talked like a late 90s wigger also. Backwards baseball cap, oversized basketball jersey, droopy jeans, peppered all his words with things like "dat shit b WHACK dawg!" and "aight nigga! I'm bouncing to go smoke some ganja, fuck some biatches and fuck up dis town yo!" it was so cringy.

He didn't have any friends his own age. He kept trying to hang out with the high school kids in the neighborhood, who only tolerated him because he got them free weed. They made fun of him just like everyone else when he wasn't around.

Dude was the most pathetic example of someone I knew who never grew the fuck up, and his enabling idiot mother didn't help. They moved out some time ago, but I'll never forget what a walking caricature this moron was. He kind of looked like this guy.

He could have just dropped the gimmick altogether and focused on his strengths, i.e. writing and research, it’s not like YouTube needs more forced humor. At one point, Errant Signal and Super Bunnyhop were the two channels you watched if you were specifically trying to steer away from obnoxious watsupguyz parrots, but Errant Signal just dropped the ball at one point, and like you say it was very sudden.
And it was sudden for a simple reason: the author (Christopher Franklin) isn’t cut to be content creator. He had a few good ideas, and the skills and resources to produce them, but not to keep it going. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Doom video was his pet project that made him think he could keep making videos of this caliber. The Internet is full of such one-shot geniuses, where an author publishes one or two excellent articles or videos on a topic that was either hot or dear to them, and you subscribe hoping for more… except it doesn’t happen. They gather the courage and motivation to get their pet project out, then run out of steam.
Errant Signal had a slightly longer good run than most, so even though I hate that saying, don’t be sad that it’s over, be glad that it happened."
