I really don't understand the whole "I'm intrinsically better than women because men have done more for society" argument. First off, I could write an entire essay on why women were sidelined for most of history but I won't do so here (although spoiler alert, it has to do with sexism). But even putting that aside, it's pathetic that incels cling to the achievements of other men as if they had anything to do with it. Cool, men thousands or hundreds of years ago achieved something. What does that have to do with you personally? Do you seriously think you have a stake in that achievement just because you happen to have a dick?
Incels have accomplished so little in life that they parasitically lay claim to the accomplishments of other men. A woman can achieve something far beyond what incels can hope to do and they'll still look down on her because "men built the pyramids."

FFS pretty much any woman's clothing is considered whorish by these assholes. You don't even have to have sex at all, just wear summer clothes! But when you consider the incels who write these kinds of arguments are likely NEET basement-dwellers who have no accomplishments of their own, (or at the very least employed but unable in their single state to get the mortgage and house most couples have at their age, and their hope for that dream millionaire-job has been shattered because they aren't as smart as bill gates and have to be a layman like everyone else), all they have left is to ride the coat-tails of other successful people of their own group (be it gender or race or whatever) because this middle-age crisis is hurting their ego badly, everyone has a house, they wasted their lives. The only way they can cope getting back at miss prom-rejecter who is married with kids now is to label all girls as lower beings.
It's like a napoleon complex. But instead of a short person putting taller people down, it's losers who put more successful people down.

Anyone know when incels started becoming so angry about their failures?I seem to remember that circa 2010 there was some talk about dealing with persons that suffer from 'avoidant personality disorders' an actual real problem and incel itself means involuntary celibate it doesn't by default imply someone that is angry all the time at not getting laid and blames women.It seems that sometime between 2011 and 2016 a highly mysoginistic view of why they can't get laid took hold.About the same time the SJW movement really took off.I'm not entirely sure what happened and how.But it went from 'i suffer from extreme anxiety' to 'Chads are fucking everything and women are inferior scum'.I'm actually curious who came up with these ideas and how they took hold.I'm reasonably certain the SJW movement and the incel movement are a result of similar issues probably linked to the recession of the early 2010's but i'm not sure how it developed and how it ended up like this.

They always were, it's just that the internet has spread wide enough that they can conglomerate into these Incel Reefs and spend all day trying to convince each other to commit suicide. Thus it is also easier for us as onlookers to find these dudes. Sadly now incels have become super over exposed they are probably soon going to go into hiding (at least the less retarded ones are) and we'll have to spend another few months finding them.

this doesn't sound right. PUAs, MRAs and redpillers have been around for a long time, but incels as we know them probably came out of /r9k/ or something around 2011-2013. i recall the self-pitying crab bucket shit really taking off then, with a lot of anger directed at women. at first it was just sadposting, but lots of shut-ins with nothing to do but dwell on their failures all stuck together on one board quickly turned into a mind poison factory
(that's my best guess, anyway. there's obviously a ton of cross-pollination with imageboard culture, and i get constant flashbacks to /r9k/ when i read incel forums etc)
