I was born about 45 years after the nazi defeat and as serb living in croatia at the time i was more likely to join the partisans than any axis forces. i had several members of my family die in tito's units and several more survive the war in them. they were tough men but had they seen what the world has turned to in 2014 they'd certainly regret that hitler lost.

If they knew what I know in 2014 I think most Allied leaders at the time would have wanted it as well. What they fought for has nothing to do with the current world. A death of democracy and liberalism in Europe would have stemmed that.
