I think he's done. Look at someone like MundaneMatt who initially only lost ~10k subscribers (though he's continued to bleed more slowly since) from ~160k total, but lost around two-thirds of his monthly views. There are probably loads of subscriptions from years and years ago that are essentially dead accounts that don't log in any more. The people leaving are the most active subs that actually pay attention and probably watch his videos on a regular basis.

If there's any truth to people reporting him to the police and they decide to get involved, shit is really going to go south for him. Even if nothing ultimately comes out of it, your life gets turned upside down when the police are investigating you and everyone already knows how badly a rape allegation can ruin someone's life. If Jirard leaves that'd be huge. From what I have gathered over the last couple years, most of the behind-the-scenes work holding NB together is done my Jirard and his crew, with Satchell doing the graphics for most of the team. I know he did all the graphics work for when the Completionist series got it's revamp. I don't know if Jirard can leave without killing NB and losing himself a bunch of money, the company is based in his office in LA and his brother is the guy who runs it and got the CP email about Jared.

Jirard's office is co-shared with multiple YouTube ventures (gotta cover overheads) as explained in his vlog channel last year. It is the home to:
Normal Boots, That One Video Gamer, The Dex, Super Beard Bros, Jesse Cox, The Co-Optional Podcast and Dodger (Although childbirth has altered that)

Some video-creators (Like Sunder and Hot Pepper Gaming) have also used the venue for video projects.

Normal Boots death would barely make a dent on Jirard's income. Especially with his sponsored work from Ubisoft and Nintendo. Oh and let's not forget that he's doing content constantly and streams unlike most of the others.

That said, Continue and Furst would be fucked outright.

Continue cannot even break 20k views these days and will likely have to rethink the documentaries they had planned. They do have some semi-professional film work, but New York is highly competitive media wise and all they've got to their reel as of late is this vidya bullshit. Jon certainly does not need them on his set.

Chris Perkins, one of the public faces for DND was DMing the game these two were in. He built and helped facilitate a storyline where these two eventually fell in love. He even had their love be so powerful that the "universe police" came in and tried to shut it down, in game.

Somewhat related but I somebody archived the Madness series, ProJared was in a bunch and they removed multiple of the seasons. That's a huge hit to lose the majority of your 5 seasons of a show like that.

Furst has the worst takes and adds the longest, most pointless shit to the series. For example in this discussion of ps1 games he starts talking about loving Gone Home. These videos were poorly planned though, they're debates when maybe 2/5 people have played 1 or 2 of the games. I don't know if it was his idea but he moderators them all, forces rules down everybody's throat, is the announcer and I've seen him meaningfully add to a discussion maybe once or twice despite being in every video.

Jirard is crazy productive and manages to support like 18 people on a YouTube channel that, all things considered, really isn't that large compared to a lot of his competitora, but it seems like he staked a bit on the Normal Boots relaunch. Do we know if he spent much money on that whole thing, or was it just time he and his guys put in? Honestly, it seems like a group like NB is kind of outdated in today's YouTube landscape, maybe they all might be better off pulling the pin now and just taking the hit, though you're right that Continue? is fucked, but with those numbers they probably shouldn't be doing this full time anyway.
