The funniest part about all of this is that they're claiming it's all true. In their delusional fantasy land it might be true. But that's only because they've literally redefined the definition of sexual assault to the point that normal human interactions are deemed sexual assault.

So, they're not only claiming that they shouldn't be held liable for believing statements made by anonymous posts... but they're also using those same anonymous posts as evidence Vic had done it, or at the very least widely known he did it? Am I having a stroke right now?

I may be all wrong here, but having just read thru the affirmative defense , it appears that Casey is throwing everything at the wall and hoping something sticks. The statements were true. The statements were hyperbole. Statute of Limitations are up. My clients are so dumb anything they say is not to be read literally. I did find it interesting that MoRonica requested a jury trial. When your clients refuse to settle and also have nothing to back up their statements, throwing everything at the wall is about all you can do. The defences don't have to be consistent with one another. Also, they're not required to provide all of the evidence supporting their defence in their initial answer, just like Vic didn't have to provide all of the evidence supporting his complaint in the initial filing.

Marchi hiding in her house suggests that she hasn't retained counsel. Her lawyer would have just contacted Ty to accept service if she had one.
