Anyone know when incels started becoming so angry about their failures?I seem to remember that circa 2010 there was some talk about dealing with persons that suffer from 'avoidant personality disorders' an actual real problem and incel itself means involuntary celibate it doesn't by default imply someone that is angry all the time at not getting laid and blames women.It seems that sometime between 2011 and 2016 a highly mysoginistic view of why they can't get laid took hold.About the same time the SJW movement really took off.I'm not entirely sure what happened and how.But it went from 'i suffer from extreme anxiety' to 'Chads are fucking everything and women are inferior scum'.I'm actually curious who came up with these ideas and how they took hold.I'm reasonably certain the SJW movement and the incel movement are a result of similar issues probably linked to the recession of the early 2010's but i'm not sure how it developed and how it ended up like this.

Avoidant personality disorder is the extreme aversion to confrontation, socialization while lacking self worth. It’s under cluster C or the fearful cluster. Incels may blame their inceldom on perceived physical slights, but they really believe the fault is with society or women. They shouldn’t have to change, not too far back there was a post about how a girl was turned off by a guy’s lack of hygiene, and he was offended that she expected any effort. They’ll also encourage each other to draw any attention to themselves, by refusing to fit in with societal standards, refusing basic hygiene, dressing inappropriately, etc.

Avoidants on the other hand tend to have good qualities but only see the negatives in themselves and if they’re able to form a relationship, are more likely to be on the receiving end of abuse believing they deserve to be treated like garbage. There also tends to be a crossover with dependent personality disorder, where once they connect to a person the sufferer is too afraid to make choices on their own. The fear of embarrassment is so bad it keeps them from trying new activities, because it could prove they’re inept. Most attention would make them feel unwelcome, They’ll do everything they could to blend in and want to be well liked.

Cluster B (antisocial, bpd, histrionic) or the ‘asshole cluster’ can crossover with fearful but it’s less common. Antisocial is far more common, hostility, entitlement , refusal to recognize others rights and feelings, and lack of remorse is more in line with what they preach. Because they’re so opposite I’m not sure if they can even be comorbid but don’t quote me on that.

Tldr; avoidant = low self esteem, fearing criticism, wanting to be well liked but believes they’re the problem, usually well meaning.
Antisocial = there’s nothing wrong with me, society should shift to suit me and if people don’t like it, it gives me power over them. Other people’s rights aren’t as important as what I want.

Another thing i realized is that being a perma-virgin is not the central issue here. I'm a bigger incel than most of these guys but in their totalitarian state i would still be purged and sent to a labour camp along with the Chads.

I'd guess much of this "incel" shit is easily the former. That they'd allow even a handful of the latter to walk all over them for their own means strikes me as the most plausible case for their..I'd call it a "hugbox" but it seems much more likely to be an empty soy-stained tissue box.
