I never subscribed to the "Black Face for Nerds" criticism that it always got, mainly because I've gone to cons myself and I've seen what uber-nerds are like...yeah guys, based on my experience, I'd say they went easy on them, lol.

Yea, that complaint just sounds like asshurt over the show making fun of them. My issue with the show isn't that it's making fun of nerds, it's just that the show is unfunny in an obnoxious catchphrasy way. Having Leonard complain about someone sitting in his spot or knocking on someones door every episode gets tiring.

I'm as glad as the next guy to see this dead horse finally take its last beating before it gets shot, but holy shit, no crowd is/was as spergy as the "I hate TBBT" club.

"Nerd blackface" is the most tryhard assmad Reddit-tier phrase ever uttered, and I'm not at all surprised to learn that Maddox, the king of cucks, was the one to coin it.

Also, it's kettle-drum-chest retarded to try and use the clips of the show without the laughtrack as proof of anything. You could do the same thing to any sitcom - Seinfeld, Frasier, Married With Children, Home Improvement, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc etc - and achieve the same effect. Wow dude, there are so many awkward pauses in this show designed to accommodate a laughtrack when you take the laughtrack away, so cringe!

I can understand not liking the show, because not everyone enjoys laughtrack sitcoms, and the producers went fucking hog wild with the laughtrack use, but to devote that much energy to being mad at a TV show is A-grade, pure distilled :autism:.

Has it ever occured to anyone that if you don't like a show...just not watch it and move on? The amount of autism and hate from Reddit is ridiculous. Hilarious, but ridiculous.

That said, good riddance to TBBT. Couldn't get past how obnoxious these characters were.

I started watching the show because of all the butthurt it generated online and honestly I was surprised I liked it. It definitely is extremely divisive but I fail to see how it is any worse than all the other sitcoms out there. TBBT is just standard sitcom fare and the hatedom it attracted is the very definition of “mad on the internet.” It makes the hatred towards Johnny Test and whatever other show spergs rage about look tame by comparison.

Also Young Sheldon is surprisingly good.
