Please ignore this tard. They were being restrained by the Chronically jaquie thread's autism containment unit until mods locked it. Everything they say is some low-effort shitpostPlease tell me hes now a pet
Is this the thread for outing transabled biid people
Most people who shit themselves regularly at age 14 are keen to keep that information to themselves. You really think we want to hear about your embarrassing frailties?Having suffered from chiari malformation, and needing a decompression at age 14, it's not cute. The numb, tingly hands and feet, the terrible migraines, oh- and especially the incontinence. Extra cute. My surgery was successful, but the residual weakened muscles and light sensitivity isn't a very fashionable thing. Why they declare to have such a thing is beyond me.

I just meant it's funny how munchies don't share the embarrassing things... But fair enough
I'm going to defer to the experts who say otherwise rather than an advocacy website that's sole purpose is pushing the narrative that it does and also happens to be the first google hit and maybe has a financial interest in proving it's real.
You can find official looking advocacy websites saying Morgellons Disease exists. And Chronic Lyme, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, Adrenal Fatigue, Leaky Gut, and any number of other proposed diagnoses that do not hold up to scrutiny.

Leaky gut (as in intestinal hyperpermeability) is a real thing. It can be imaged. I've seen a few alcoholics and people with Crohn's who have it.
Is it the cause of all your health problems? Doubtful.
Man, every time I'm dead sure something is just a junk dx for people who don't like that getting old feels bad, I find out it's actually a thing. So it exists as a clinical finding in other disorders, but not the alternative medicine systemic disease that causes lupus and autism and is cured by woo?
Does the real deal carry a risk of major infection or anything? Just wondering since "leaky [organ]" sounds like a recipe for death to me.
You were right. It's not real.
We're talking about two different things. "Leaky gut" as a synonym for intestinal hyperpermeability which does exist as a finding in other disorders like crohns, and "leaky gut syndrome" as an alternative diagnosis of a standalone condition which does not exist. I had never heard of the former, therefore when I said "leaky gut" does not exist and did not specify which one I was referring to, I was only half-correct.
I am now interested in what happens if your gut actually becomes leaky.
It's not a clinical sign, either, though?

nah dude, i think I was just wrong. It happens.
Journal articles on the first page of google results for the terms "intestinal hyperpermeability crohns"
Patients with Crohn's disease have increased intestinal permeability, which may precede the development of clinical disease and be involved in disease pathogenesis.
"Increased small intestinal permeability is a longstanding observation in both Crohn's disease patients and in their healthy, asymptomatic first-degree relatives."
Increased permeability of the intestinal epithelium to specific molecular probes has been described extensively in patients with Crohn's disease, and clearly fluctuates with disease severity.
I mean, I didn't even have to look hard.
So you're saying that increased intestinal permeability is part of the diagnostic criteria for some diseases, or that a doctor will tell a patient that they have looked for and found it? Because if not, that means the munchies claiming leaky gut are getting it from thin air, or unscrupulous quacks.
Holy shit, I tried to look through this girl's insta and I've never so badly wanted to delete the app. What an insufferable little shit.
Short version for people who value their time more than I do:
Early 20s
spergs out about gender, insists she's not a girl, in a heterosexual relationship, but because she identifies as a non-binary lesbian and her man identifies as not a man, she claims to be "queer" and that she speaks for the gay and lesbian community.
Claims autism, stimming, playing with fidgets, #flappyhands, etc, but is always in overwhelming environments. Magic earphones cure all.
muh schizophrenia/bpd/bipolar/schizoaffective disorder/dissociation/panic disorder
claims EDS, can't walk need wheelchair.
MCAS, not bothered by smoking or makeup or any other common trigger.
Has irlen syndrome, something that probably does not exist.
E-begs, always has new clothes and makeup from overpriced brands.
I wonder what the crossover rate is with fake spoonies and genderspecials.
Dude. Read what I'm writing. I'm saying it's two different things.

2) a bogus diagnosis given out by woo doctors called "leaky gut syndrome" that people claim causes autism and lupus and every other disease under the sun. This does not exist. It
