As Phil has vehemently stated several times since the wedding that they absolutely do NAHT want kids, I would have to assume that this would be a recent development or she got pregnant some time before the wedding and has kept it hidden from him until some time recently.

If a recent development: They are probably getting an abortion.

If she kept it from him and the poor fetus has had time to develop some brain activity: Phil probably still wants an abortion but Khet wants to keep it. She hid it from him for a reason. If so I expect her and the baby get kicked to curb and he puts child support on credit cards. Phil can't have any attention taken away from him.

Of course the real reason for a doctor visit is probably some antibiotics for their sinus infections. Phil always seems to make routine things seem like huge deals.

As far as Kat's job goes, I'm inclined to believe taking a week off from a retail job could have gotten her the axe. Especially with all the sick days sprinkled in that Phil has talked about.

A friendly reminder to people that a week before DSP got married, he was asked about the possibility of marriage on stream and said marriage was impossible at that time.

Don't trust his lies.

EDIT: Shout-out to @SoapQueen1 for this from the marriage thread:

If I'm not mistaken about a month ago Dave said something about clearing some room, I think it was around the time he tried selling those statues.
They could possibly need an empty room for a nursery. Or to lock a cat in if they buy one, since he himself said that is what he would do.

I really hope it's not a pregnancy. Laughing at Phil is all fun and games but having a child be raised by those two loonies is really a sad thought.

I'd probably stop following because divine punishment had been meted out to Phil at that point. There's simply no good end for him at that point, knowing he's still a brat himself.

He'll break himself playing the beggar card on his audience while trying to justify to his equally useless wife that begging during a half assed 13th playthrough of DS3 is too much work for him to watch their crotchspawn after her shift at the Hot Topic (or wherever).

Sucks for the kid though. I guess whatever they did in their previous life came back to hit them too. I don't trust Phil not stupidly kill himself, so the kid is all buy doomed once Kat leaves it with Daddy to care for.

I kinda hope it is a kid, to begin the new arc: the one where Phil cannot beg enough money to claw his way out the money pit due to there simply not being enough dolphins, fish, nor whales left in the sea.

Can you imagine what it'd be like if Phil had a daughter? I'm imagining a roly-poly toddler with raccoon eye makeup, the vaguest hint of five-o'-clock shadow, a wicked snorting habit, and the personality of drywall. Except for her occasional outbursts of blasphemy against the living God in reverse-Latin.

Good thing Kat's not actually pregnant.

Wow...if this is true:

Option 1: Abortion

Option 2: The kid is raised by a 40 year-old guy in a senior citizen's body and a woman with the personality of a cardboard standup

Jesus......I really, really, REALLY hope she's not pregnant.

I think it has more to do with the woman's eggs. Ket isn't 30 yet so time is ticking for her.

Also god damn the kid will look something fierce.

Yeah, while it can come into play, his age isn't really a factor. This is just another meme pushed by people acting like he's geriatric when he's not, similar to the way people talk about his reaction time when the average between 18-30 year olds and 30-40 year olds is something miniscule like 4ms. It has more to do with his personal health than anything, which you can surely bring into question, but fathering a child at 37 really isn't a big deal.

Even Khet being 30 isn't that big of a deal. It's generally better for women earlier, but even up to like 35 the child isn't really at much, if any, additional risk for health issues. The problem with women comes when they put their careers first and don't try to find real relationships until they're in their 30s already. You have the issue of finding someone, then getting serious, then marriage and child and you're pushing 35+. If you're in a solid relationship by 30 and planning on having kids, popping one out at 32 isn't that big of a deal.

Or they're both just sick because Kat works with the public and Phil is a shut-in with the immune system of a leukemia patient.

After last time with her needing to sleep downstairs on the couch by his own admission I'd be dragging his ass to the doctor, too. I wouldn't be putting myself through dealing with him being sick for a week because he won't get some fucking antibiotics when he's the one who gets to sleep as long as he wants.

I don't know how much good antibiotics would do, I'm no doctor, but I believe Gin dilutes the efficacy of such a treatment

I've been waiting for ages for this fuckwit to get off the internet and actually do something useful.

My mother was 39 when she had me, and she had half a dozen miscarriages before I lucked out.

There are real implications to having children late in life, Phil already has some of the lowest energy I've seen in an adult that isn't even middle aged, he doesn't leave the house, the kid would be running wild, demanding attention that it wouldn't get...

The worst timeline.

Yeah, but that has nothing to do with him being 37, that has to do with him having a poor diet, no exercise, and a shitty work/sleep schedule. Same thing with his apparent bad reaction time. That has practically nothing to do with him being 37, it's got more to do with him not wearing his glasses, having ridiculous tunnel vision, and probably a slow reaction time to begin with.

Phil "I never said I wanted to beat up an 11 year old girl. I just said that in my day if a kid acted like that you should hit them" Burnell would be a great dad.
Shit. With how much of a coward he is, he wouldn't lay a finger on the kid. He'd just go on shtreem and settle in his echo chamber and rant about what he SHOULD have done.

"So, my little fuckin' bitch of a kid didn't clean up its room. So I just let my wife deal with it. But what I should have done is just pimp-slap the shit out of it. Anyways, TIP ME."

I understand that.

I'm saying that the implications of neglecting a child during its formative years are dire, and with the nature obviously thrown out the window, nurture would be the only way to produce a functional person.

DSP would be able to afford a lifestyle that would not engender the basic survival instincts in the child to develop without guidance... hunger and fear can grow a kid up quickly (ask me how I know). The child would likely have enough provisions that it would not be curious about life outside of what it knows... this is why I say the worst timeline, because kids that are not driven by need, or driven by the direction of their parents, are the kids that end up fucking up and becoming a waste of potential. You have Catherine, a lady with family history of mental illness, who grew up in an unstable household, who would ostensibly not be the primary caretaker of the child, as she has to work, and you have DSP, who admits that he would lock up an animal in a closet when he is streaming because I guess he can't be bothered? I have too many damn kids, and it is a fallacy to think that they take up the most time when they are babies - sure you have to feed and change the diapers, but in between that, they basically just exist. Once the kids start walking, talking, trying to learn, they demand much more attention, and more importantly, they imprint on the parents habits and behaviors. With no-one paying attention to the kids, it would almost be better if they had twins, then they could at least raise each other.
