if they had kids they'd be in those forums instead, I think having no kids is the right choice.this sub might be the largest congregation of salty narcissists on the internet outside of estranged parent forums.
I personally prefer the term "Fuck Trophies" which is something they unfortunately don't seem to use that often.
Exactly. The childfree people are a wondrous species. Big power level, I used to lurk on the CF board back on the days of Usenet and ended up having a good time trolling them.I feel that people who preoccupy themselves with a lifestyle choice which requires no effort are usually trying to compensate for a feeling of existential angst that they're making the wrong decision, and are in fact just fearful of the sacrifices they'd have to make in order to do what they know deep down would make them the happiest.
People who are comfortable with the idea of not having children shouldn't need to make a big deal about their decision, just as an overweight person who is comfortable with their weight shouldn't need to go full fat acceptance activist and lecture others about how dieting is oppressive and unneeded. In both instances, such rhetoric just looks like insecure emotional compensation.
As harsh as it sounds, humanity is better off if certain people do not breed, and it takes a somewhat commendable level of self-awareness to show yourself out of the gene pool if that’s the case. Most of these rabid CFers would be shitty parents anyways so nothing of value is really lost. I’d rather their misery die out in a generation than be passed on to some poor unwanted child.Although I'm glad that they're choosing not to breed, there's only so much room for new threads on KF.

AITA for not giving up my table (at a restaurant) for a pregnant woman who needed it for accessibility?
Two nights ago I was out for dinner with my husband at this new restaurant we’ve been wanting to try for a while. It’s got a Michelin star so it’s...old.reddit.com
Not r/childfree but the top comment so perfectly captures the incels and cunts that post there. The overall comment chain is pretty awful amen r/childfree with a lot of hatred toward pregnant women and couples having children.
I don’t think the waitress should have asked them to move tables, the couple should have said before hand “hey we need a lower level table because my wife is pregnant” and the restaurant would have accommodated them. However, I also think the woman who posted this is being a bitch too because if it only took you a week’s notice to get a table at a “busy” Michelin star restaurant it’s not that amazing nor busy so get over yourself.

what??? these two women are exactly as capable as each other! You name it- hurdles, long jump, distance running, holding in your pee, breathing deeply, refraining from vomiting, etcYeah the amount of people saying that being pregnant doesn't disable you at all was interesting. There is a reason maturity leave is a thing.
Don’t ever bring up maternity leave around r/childfree incels. You’ll get an earful on how unfair it is to the people who work with the mother/father and how they did nothing to win time off for having crotch spawn and how it’s an inconvenience to their colleagues.Yeah the amount of people saying that being pregnant doesn't disable you at all was interesting. Society, huh? Are you sure it isn't innate biological desire you're fighting against? You know, good old Darwinian "Eat, Fight, Fuck?"It's seen as too extreme because society has conditioned people for so long into pro-natalism and having children.
I also found it's very hard to 'recruit' or convert new people to being childfree or antinatalist. It's seen as too extreme because society has conditioned people for so long into pro-natalism and having children. Therefore purely for pragmatic reasons while still a committed antinatalist- I tend to support nowadays environmental anti-overpopulation charities such as Population Matters that aren't saying don't breed, but have small families (1 child preferred, 2 child maximum) over large - and this seems to be working in many countries since total fertility rates are dropping.
So typical of a fringe-movement there's infighting, especially vegan antinatalists versus non-vegan antinatalists.

Please, do tell more about your misanthropic antinatalist adventures fighting the evil breeders.
that's a little backwards, since the drive to reproduce is wayyyyy older than fucking. Fucking exists because it was a more efficient way to satisfy the existing instinct to reproduce. People still want babies even when fucking won't make babies (gays, infertile people). I don't know how these childfree people can say it is brainwashing when reproductive instinct is older than brains, and is as universal as the instinct to eat.The world is really not in danger of running out of humans unless we have another plague or all out nuclear war, but that's not because society forces people to breed, people just like to fuck. It ain't that deep.
I guess all those gay dads purchasing the services of surrogates were brainwashed by the social construction of motherhood??? reproducing is older than mothers. life as we know it exists because of an unfathomably long line of biological reproduction. humans would not have stuck around that long if they were so broken as to be exempt from the programming that enabled every other life form to exist. What could have possibly deleted that instinct from humans so that social construction would have to take its place? No, there's no instinct or biological urge for humans to reproduce. Just web-search "social construction of motherhood". Fairly good academic reference: https://sk.sagepub.com/reference/motherhood/n616.xml
Most race nationalists talk about how there need to be more kids of that race, but ironically don’t have kids themselves (cause, you know, they’re unfuckable)The only places I can think of that really push kids on people are conservative Asian countries and some Mormon sects.
