It's so funny how ineffectual he is as his own propaganda officer. How many people does he think he's fooling? How much dissent does he think he's quashing?

You can't play the game and be your own Goutstapo, Phil, and you can't rely on your mods to do it for you when they're all busy jacking each other off or whatever degeneracy it is you're fostering in your chat every week.

Defines, denies, what's the difference?

The two best examples of this are when his chat disagrees with him and he speaks to his YT audience directly contradicting them and saying his entire chat agrees with him. A good example was this afternoon's sperg-out about how he never interacted with chat, and him saying chat was calling people complaining stupid when everyone was agreeing with people saying he didn't interact enough.

The second of these examples is his "alottapeepuhl" schtick when his Twitch chat largely disagrees with him, his Twitch DMs/Whispers are closed off, you can track his @s on Twitter and nobody is saying this, his DMs on Twitter are closed off and he barely follows anyone, and his forums are dead. Where the fuck are these people coming from? Is every single one of these "alottapeepuhl" sending him e-mails to his early 2000s Hotmail account that, by Dave's own admission, puts shit into his Spam folder by accident all the time?

Phil also may see the differences in the way YT detractors treat him and Wings. I mostly see Wings' vids in snippets that mock his whining or ban montages, but nothing on the level of what you see with Phil, in both quantity and variety.

Mayhap I'm wrong, I don't see Wings' chat so maybe he's exactly like Phil and I've just seen more heavily edited videos.

Also don't forget that Wings has actually *gasp* shown the full gambit of human emotions to his viewers - from my scared and depressed he's going to lose everything to anger when he's trolled in game.

And he's also straight up said how he's basically washed up and milking things for all he can because he made some stupid choices and has to live with the consequences of his decline.

Dave wouldn't say that. Ever. On his death bed, if he has 1 sub and 1 donation he's still winning.

I like how Dave just went on a 2-3 minute nostalgia tour of mid-2000s wrasslin' games and why he wouldn't go back and play them (They're not new, says the King of Retro, and he has no way to capture them) while he's playing Phoenix Fucking Wright, a point and click adventure game you can literally brute force and has save scumming built into it. Not that it matters because he'd just use chat as a guide if he got really fucked.

Dude literally cannot play the simplest kind of games and talk about something he shouldn't have to think about. He's handicapped.

Also, Detective Gumshoe looks as embarrassed about whatever this incident is as Dave was about his.

Wings acknowledges his situation is shitty but he can't see a way out. Phil has mentioned there being no way out, but Phil seems fine with that. Streaming games from a crusty loveseat the rest of his life, talk about a dream life for a voluntary shut in. So Wings seems like a guy smart enough to know he's fucked, while Phil either is content to screw up his life or oblivious and really thinks he is winning at life.

There was some summer a few years ago when I guess there was nothing coming out he wanted to play so he played like Link to the Past and FF6 or some shit and called it the Summer of Retro, and King of Retro came from that. It's fucking dumb.

He needed to be King of something since King of Hate doesn't really apply to him at all anymore. Also King of Hate sounds fucking dumb anyway.

Eh, BadBunny is somewhat sympathetic towards him. I was in her chat the first like day she was watching all the DSP shit and everyone was over there and she was sort of defending him. It makes sense since she's called the female DSP and is basically in the same position as him: relying on donations from strangers on the internet and deluding herself that minimum wage being an e-thot in your early 30s is a wise career move (even if DSP makes more than minimum).

She probably views it as an investment. While I agree she's sympathetic to DSP, she's also a twitch thot. That's pennies on the dollar for her, and as this thread has pointed out his regulars will flock to her chat. She just needs to be the honey pot and all the closet subs will come crawling to have DSPellina step on their e-balls.
