r/childfree - Where child-haters congregate

Most race nationalists talk about how there need to be more kids of that race, but ironically don’t have kids themselves (cause, you know, they’re unfuckable)

Yes, see @Mikemikev @Literally_Mikemikev

This clearly reduces White birth rates. How the Jews do this: media, academia, finance, legal lobbying, all interconnected. White demonization, hiding non White crime stories. According to the UN definition actions which reduce birth rates are a form of genocide. And again why are you quibbling semantics? You don't dispute Whites are in rapid decline because of Jewish lobbying...?

He believes in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories Jews are reducing "white birth rates" and retweets Mark Collett who criticisises white people with no, or few children, but is a 40 year old white nationalist and has no children of his own. Of course Mark Collett has no children of his own either despite being in his late 30s.

Dragging your autistic slapfight into other threads is bad form.

I guess all those gay dads purchasing the services of surrogates were brainwashed by the social construction of motherhood??? reproducing is older than mothers. life as we know it exists because of an unfathomably long line of biological reproduction. humans would not have stuck around that long if they were so broken as to be exempt from the programming that enabled every other life form to exist. What could have possibly deleted that instinct from humans so that social construction would have to take its place?

I think you're confusing sex with reproduction. A number of species, including humans have non-reproductive sexual behaviours; it could be argued there is a biological urge for sex (however asexual humans, around 0.5-1% of the total population wouldn't fit this). This means in the case of humans having sex, reproduction is merely (sometimes) a byproduct. As for so-called 'baby fever' or 'maternal instinct' being hard-wired in the brain, I don't see any possible way to actually demonstrate this. What I do see though is society has conditioned individuals (esp. females) into pro-natalism e.g. young girls are given baby dolls, women are constantly shown in the media holding a baby and so on.

Regardless, even if reproduction was proven to be a biological urge, that doesn't discredit antinatalism which is primarily a moral argument; I base the latter on the devastating impact humans have on the environment and other animals.

I followed the childfree subreddit for a while and was also a member of antinatalist groups on Facebook for years since I identify with ecological antinatalism; the main problem is there are many different reasons to be childfree, not all of them are antinatalist (e.g. some people don't have kids simply because they're hedonists and see children as spoiling their fun) and within antinatalism, at least two separate types of antinatalism exist (philanthropic and misanthropic/ecological) that argue with each other. So typical of a fringe-movement there's infighting, especially vegan antinatalists versus non-vegan antinatalists. The antinatalist Facebook groups really achieve nothing.

I also found it's very hard to 'recruit' or convert new people to being childfree or antinatalist. It's seen as too extreme because society has conditioned people for so long into pro-natalism and having children. Therefore purely for pragmatic reasons while still a committed antinatalist- I tend to support nowadays environmental anti-overpopulation charities such as Population Matters that aren't saying don't breed, but have small families (1 child preferred, 2 child maximum) over large - and this seems to be working in many countries since total fertility rates are dropping.

Anyone who puts blame on "society" is either a.) full of shit or b.) doesn't know what they're talking about. I'm so sick of society being the invisible boogieman. Sex abuse within the catholic church? Pope blames society. Society is a scapegoat, and it's a great one because no one really takes blame. Stop using it.

Also the desire to reproduce is natural, just like another living organism we wish to propagate our species.
Also overpopulation is a big fat myth. We shouldn't focus on lowering the birthrate, but increases it to 2.1 (in America, it's 1.8 ) to sustain ourselves. Otherwise the younger generations will be stuck supporting the retirees, and social security will bust.

put a smile on my face to open this thread, see the first post i've ever read by this guy, then spot the strikethrough already on his name

A Youtuber with currently 1.2 million subs named Leon Lush has just released a video on the childfree community on reddit. He makes a lot of videos taking the piss out of cringey stuff and a lot of it honestly is stuff covered or mentioned by this site in some way. The video is pretty funny. A recommend it for followers of this thread.
