Well, someone finally got Phil to spill at least some of the beans on his "behind the scenes" stress. He's trying to unload his CT condo. His plan?

1) Stop paying on the CT condo.
2) Get bank to either just take it or offer up a payment plan or something.
3) Declare bankruptcy.

Not considered? Selling the WAkhando and using the likely profits from that to discharge a ton of debt while downsizing to a more reasonable place.

Edit: Also still adamantly denying that a baby is involved and says that neither he nor Kat want kids.

Edit 2: He's working as much as he possibly can

I figured just as much.

That anonymous idiot turned out to be his Mod

"I paid Phil a dollar to call me an idiot" is pretty much his business model. Maybe when he does a redemption run of his business cards he could slap that quote on there above his Teespring link.

He has no friends, his family is by his own words on their fuckin death beds, his girlfriend has the personality of a plank of wood, and he doesn't want children. This nigga is literally going to spend the next like 30-40 years of his life miserably alone with his only social interaction being the meaningless tweets he sends out at 2 in the morning. His existence is so god damn sad to step back and just look at.

Feel free to hit me with the optimistic for that life span as well.

This is basically what I think about every time he says something about people being jealous of him. Yeah, he's currently getting $100k+ a year somehow, but it's not like he's banking it. So he doesn't even get the benefit of an easy retirement (at least not from his "work"), and he's still got no life outside of his streaming.

The only scenarios I can see Phil not being a streamer/let's player anymore:
1. Phil gets filthy rich really quick. He hates his current job, and if it were up to him he wouldn't do it. Knowing his pigroach luck, he'll probably win hundreds of millions playing the lottery or his parents are secret multimillionaires and will give all of their money to Phil when they die. Phil buys Kiwi Farms and then kills it. Phil makes one last video gloating about his total victory over the detractors and rides on his horse into the sunset.

2. Phil dies. Phil's terrible lifestyle catches up to him and ingloriously dies of a heart attack during one of his fap sessions. Nothing he could do.

3. Phil gets his comeuppance; the pigroach luck finally runs out. Phil gets banned from Twitch and YouTube, he can't talk his way out of it. Kat finds another man that isn't a loser and cucks Phil, not only that but the divorce proceedings go very poorly for him ("I can't afford a lawyer, dood!") and he has to pay massive amounts of alimony to Kat every month for 10 years. We get dozens of EMERGENCY videos. Phil lives, but he's so defeated that he has no choice but to cut his losses by getting a real job and moving on with his life.

Scenario 4. Because Kat has an actual job, after the inevitable divorce she ends up having to pay him alimony payments, he eases up on the begging now that he can live off her payments, and plays Minecraft until he decomposes right there on his seat, but because he's a paranoid hermit with no friends or family at this point, his live-on-stream death remains live for 3 weeks until his neighbors complain about the smell and bust down his door. As this is happening, his chat is spamming frog emotes and Tevin is somewhere laughing in a cloud of vape smoke.

Speaking of retirement, what realistically can Dave expect? If we take what we know of his income, and his statements as fact, what endgame is there for him?

If we take Phil at his word? He will die streaming. He will have to beg speds for money for the rest of his life. He has no plan B. And I feel like that is not far from the truth. I think Phil sees his gigantic YouTube "archive" as his retirement. He is, as usual, putting all of his eggs in one basket. If YouTube goes under or he gets demonetized, his retirement is shot to shit. With Phil being as terrible with money as he is, I am 99% sure he isn't socking anything away into an IRA or something like that. It's YouTube or die penniless. (Peneless haha)

It's fun and interesting to watch other streamers endlessly flaunt their wealth (Kripp also recently bought a Porsche Cayenne, has a gorgeous house that makes Phil's condo look like a shared college apartment, and regularly just doesn't stream because he doesn't want to) because they're in full sellout mode, with several #ad streams a week, even more #ad tweets, and even gets paid by Blizzard to play their game and sell more cards to children.

But no one cares about him being a sellout and a corporate puppet, because he isn't shy about it. He's never gone on hundreds of rants about other SHILLS ruining twitch. He's just quietly one of them. And a millionaire because of it.

It's amazing what Phil's being an asshole for years about people he's jealous of has done to his potential revenue streams. He's legit the only dude with 500 subs on Twitch who doesn't get free games from publishers. Phil's too deep in his own hypocrisy that even if "trolls" weren't stopping his sponsored streams, he looks like a coward and a liar every time he overreaches trying to get paid.

With your foot in your mouth, you can never run and catch up.
thing with kripp is, he makes decent content. Its not content i'll watch a lot of but its nice, and from what i remember when he bitched about hearthstone cards being toxic and unhealthy, it never sounds like he was bitching at you, but for you. kripp knew what he was talking about because kripp is deep in them

Option 5: It is no longer possible to make a full time income from streaming. Used to say streaming would disappear but there will probably always be a market for it, but the crazy money getting thrown around won't last forever, it can't. It would almost be fitting because it is the one option completely out of Phil's hands. There would be nothing he could do.

Phil will be streaming until his death bed unless social security and disability are enough to sustain his standard of living.
That plan where he gets a job in 10 years? Spoiler alert, not gonna happen.

Of course not! It's not a matter of availability or ability, he could pick up any job he wants at any time and work on a professional level. He is the hardest working person in America, just behind three Asian dudes, but they don't count - obviously. But detractors robed him of any opportunity! They would SWAT any company and harass their families. They are sick in the head! So he would just stay away from any job to protect the American economy. He's a hero! He sacrificed everything for YOU. Yes, for YOU.

I feel like whoever made this is a closet detractor by picking this photo of him.

It's quite possibly one of the worst pictures you can use, and they didn't crop out his neck fat, either. Fuck, even I try my best to get rid of the excess neck fat when I'm making photoshops of him because it's so disgusting.

Exactly. That's why I was sure there HAD to be something hidden in the bushes or reflections lol, though i was wrong - that thing is horrifying. Did he even use it in his Sahnic the Egg Frahg playthrough? (I seriously doubt it.) This is why the majority of his fan art is hand drawn (to look nothing like him) or uses photos from 6-7 years ago. Dude looks horrible for his age and I still can't figure out what the deal is with that "goatee."

In a rare case i fully support dsp going to E3. Paypigs toss him some cash please. I want to see phil the fallout ghoul walking in LA and irl. Would he bring Kat?
Wouldn't ever happen. He'd get the money, say he bought the plane tickets and then the day he was supposed to fly out he'd go mysteriously radio silent for half a day before jumping on Twitter and claiming there was a bomb threat that shut down the whole airport, or that he got bumped from his seat (lol as if he'd even consider bringing Kat along) or that there was mechanical failure, and he couldn't go. Now he missed his flight and there'd be absolutely no chance of rebooking, or renting a car and driving down for at least part of the show, or anything. Nope, situation completely hopeless, nothing he could do.

He'd still take all the days off of streaming, though.

If true, the fact that he 'tried to declare bankruptcy and was denied 2 times' tells us everything about his financials.

Chapter 7, a complete discharge of debt, is tough to get these days. You pretty much have to have a house, car, credit cards and no job at all.

So most people file Chapter 13, which is a debt repayment plan.

Ch. 13 has a worksheet you fill out to see if you qualify and if you do, how much your monthly payment is. The worksheet does take into account allowances for buying food, new clothes, vehicle maintenance, etc, btw.
If they won't file you under chapter 13, then that means that your current assets can pay your debts. It might be break even, but it still means he has more than enough money to pay for everything he has.

But lets say you qualify (Just going to finish explaining how it works since I'm here already). You fill out the worksheet and it says you have $200/month in expendable cash.
Now lets just say you have, I dunno, $700,000 in debt you're filing. What happens is now you pay that $200/month that the worksheet says you have extra to the administrator of your bankruptcy. The admin then gives a portion of it to all your creditors that filed the paperwork to say they are owed. This happens for 5 years. After 5 years, the remainder of your debts are discharged. So you have paid $12,000 to get rid of $700,000 - not bad eh?

It's fairly easy to qualify for Chapter 13. The only way he would be denied is if the lawyers did the paperwork and realized that he makes more than enough to pay for everything he has. Because it's illegal to declare bankruptcy when you're not insolvent.

Informative. If only the source didn't have a decade-long documented history of talking out his ass at every turn.

Though I still think it's most likely that Phil has more assets than he makes out. Lying for him is as natural as breathing.
