TL;DRFor anyone that hasn't done so already, I would encourage you to peruse the quality of submissions on the "Vic Meggnogna Horror Stories" tumblr. It is astounding to me that this was cited in articles and a lawsuit. It is readily apparent that almost no one took the time to actually read through it.

Shane is too worthless to bother with, but he could always end up getting himself deposed which ought to be good enough.
I do wonder what his angle in this is though. Sure he's stupid, but he has to have some motive for acting this way, particularly when the other people involved aren't his friends. My own private theory is that he wants to be a big shot that can run his own con and he's trying to make sure that there are some VAs that will sign-up for it.
I think all of these useless fucks are trying to use each other in some way (like Ron is trying to use Shane to control the social media message) but they all fail to realize that if you're using a useless fuck, they're still a useless fuck and will fuck up whatever you try to use them for.

While it was clear that the sources they used were questionable already, deeper inspection shows that the Tumblr blog that was cited was filled with nothing but lies and hearsay. Talk about grasping at straws, only to grasp shit that was never there in the first place.

- They made no attempt to verify the anonymous submissions.
- 99.99% of the messages they received were hearsay and that the blog was a space for people to vent.
- They didn't fact check any of the stories and they encouraged submissions to be vague enough so that they couldn't be fact checked.
- The purpose of the blog was to collect stories (whether true or not) because they found them to be really, really funny.
- It didn't matter if the stories were true or not because they were always hilarious.
Despite the name of the blog "Vic Meggnogna Horror Stories", a lot of what can be found there was petty complaints. There were a number of positive stories about Vic too, stories about things his fans had done, stories about other voice actors and spam from both his fans and detractors. The blog is being held in high regard by the media and Casey Erick, but it was just a typical tumblr blog full of stupid bullshit, which anyone should have known from looking at the title.

Don't forget the fact that this blog was deleted shortly by the operator after it was referenced in their response. That in itself is an issue.
Interesting how despite wanting to be out in the open with his stuff and trying to do things the "proper" way, he sure is trying to disrupt it and avoid being deposed. Also, isn't Casey supposed to have another week before he's available?

Odd error to make. My guess is it just got docketed as an automatic process because of Casey's filing, but they decided just to handle all outstanding discovery issues on the 31st.
The usual process is someone files a motion, and then there's some period of time to respond to it (or not), and then after anything required is filed, there's a hearing scheduled on the next open hearing date.
