Community Munchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention

What about Super Webe who’s deleting IG posts? Looked into her more and holy fuck what a munchie goldmine. Recently posted that her previous doctor didn’t think she had POTS, has been doctor shopping for eons for a legitimate POTS/EDS dx w/o legitimate symptoms; attention whore extraordinaire.
...Why is her port between her tits?!

Are we counting Susan Schofield Cabana? MBbP?
IMO I'd be hesitant to include Susan. She's not just another failed gifted child who's destroying their own body for attention, she's abusing her children and making money off of it. The less attention she gets from the internet the better.

I meant including her in the reference of people who have been mentioned here as people with Munchausens/factitious disorder

Meet Jenna, a 29-year old from Michigan who claims to have: "severe" gastroparesis, SMAS, digestive tract paralysis, POTS (Tilt table test at Mayo was borderline but doc said it was NOT POTS), neurocardiogenic syncope, iron deficiency anemia, hEDS (geneticist said she did not have it), MCAS, migraines, cluster headaches, hiatal hernia, osteoporosis, osteopenia, GERD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and several more. She frequently tags "autoimmune" although she never mentions having any autoimmune diseases. Other diseases she has tagged but not mentioned: lupus, angioedema, lyme disease, and epilepsy.

Blog (I would highly recommend at least skimming her blog as it is significantly more in depth than her Instagram)

Jenna claims to have cluster headaches, aka suicide headaches, but can simultaneously take a photo, use the laptop, and post to Instagram while having one.

She denies having an eating disorder over and over, despite a significant amount of evidence to the contrary. If she actually has gastroparesis I wouldn't be surprised if it's secondary to an ED.

She exhibits a ton of classic munchie attention-seeking behavior. Every year on her brother's birthday she's either hospitalized or has the flu. Pretty much every time she's around a new person, she has a POTS "fainting spell."

She cannot handle confrontation or stress in ANY way and says she gets "POTS attacks" that sound a lot more like anxiety attacks.

Jenna was allegedly kicked out of nursing school "weeks" before graduation due to her illness and super mean instructors. She is OBSESSED with being a nurse. She also seems to think that all of her experience makes her smarter than every medical professional around her.

That's really just the tip of the iceberg. Medical staff are all either her new BFFs or they hate her and want her to die. It's hard to find any in between.

Is this the same Jenna as in Smoldevort, from one of the ancient Pro Ana Scumbags threads on LCF, who faked AN and later, mom's cancer and I think her own, too?
the only thing that ever cures these spoonies is fucking cancer. real, good, old fashioned bad-prognosis cancer.

it's fantastic to see them try to spoon up those first few weeks before the reality sets in.
Man, I don't even think they'd be cured then. They would be super maniacally happy and smiley when posting about it and the next day they're focusing on the positive and "got this!" 💪💪💪

She has her own thread already.

I know, but she's not really on par with the rest of the IF/Lolcow munchies. Like I said, she's not just a simple spoonie warrior, she's a straight-up child abuser.

This poor woman has a threehead...

So do those munchies who list every little symptom as if it's a distinct and woeful disability in its own right know that probably the vast majority of people are living with chronic irritating conditions? But normal people keep that shit to themselves?

I'm sure we all know those elderly neighbours or colleagues who take a casual hello as an opportunity to launch into a run down of all their medical problems. You know, the ones who never ask how anyone else is. I assume it's because their lives are empty and self obsession and Drs appointments give them a diversion.
It's probably been said but it's just sad all these young women are behaving just like wittering old folks. If you're a dumb young woman with a craving for attention there are way better ways to get attention on the internet. Seriously, just get your tits out it's better than munching yourself to death or ending up with an unnecessary ostomy.

most young women aren't living with chronic irritating conditions, though, and if they are it's like, myopia or mild anxiety. if it were normal, they wouldn't get so much attention.

For anyone that follows Amanda/Ren, she recently posted her third Go Fund Me, this time for a wheelchair. It includes her version of her munchie origin story which features such gems as:

-The Gardasil vaccine "caused an adverse reaction within the first hour of receiving it. I never really thought of it at first." Which is followed closely by "things began slowly." Which was it?

-"My cardiologist and I are pretty close. We don't email back and forth but he has a clinic I can walk in if I'm having any troubles." Sounds like you're real close.

-"Unfortunately, I have a lot of neurological problems from the vaccine breaking the brain barrier. Aluminum spread throughout my body and I began experiencing seizure-like episodes."

-"With my episodes, I have several types. One of them are caused by my restless leg syndrome. My legs will twitch and spasm and sometimes I can’t even move. I hitch my breath, hoping it calms down. It’s hard." WHAT?!?!?!

Is this the gender special one that IF loves to coddle because of her alleged shitty mental state and fake suicidality?

$850 for a wheel chair? Bullshit a wheel chair doesn't cost that much.

I now wear an Apple Watch to track my heart rate patterns.

hmm which is more important, being able to get around or having a fancy gadget that costs several times as much.

That was literally one big fucking feel pity for me fest. I have chronic pain just from reading that shit but it does bring me a lot of joy to see she has a grand total of 0 donors lmao. Really enjoy her claiming to have borderline personality disorder, ADHD, PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, and depression. Nigga just opened the DSM-V like it was a free fucking shopping catalog.

"During the summer and during marching band season, I also started having to go to the urgent care to get fluids to calm my heart rate and blood pressure. When I saw my cardiologist again, he started meds and we tried several beta blockers and calcium channel blockers to try and figure out what will help. Eventually, I saw my primary and he prescribed propranolol which actually is one of the firsts that actually work for my body and my autonomic nervous system."

Nigga what? So your blood pressure and heart rate made you need fluids insinuating you had hypovolemia and low blood pressure because you no doubt purposely dehydrated yourself but then you were given CCBs and beta blockers which fucking lower blood pressure????? Also lmao at the primary care physician giving her propranolol to make her shut the fuck up about her anxiety and it actually helping from her own admission. Dude was done with her shit.

That's like when munchies call their doctor's office after hours to bitch about not feeling well and hear "If you're having severe symptoms, go the ER" and they immediately start crowing that their own doctors told them to get admitted.

Like, no, they didn't. They're just adhering to CYA. You're not special.

AKA the doctor was treating panic disorder (I assume the calcium-channel blocker was verapamil) but was too nice to tell her.

Interestingly, like 67% of patients diagnosed with panic disorder also exhibit joint hypermobility. Quick, bend your fingers back and get that hEDS diagnosis girl

Who on earth gave her a Samoyed? They are a working breed that need serious excercise, shed like a bastard and need a lot of grooming and care. They’re smart but they aren’t an easy dog.
I foresee the poor pup getting rehomed fairly quickly...

Laughing at ‘atypical anorexia...’

CMHTs all over the country are stripped to the bone, resource wise. Even people with serious issues are struggling to be seen. Take that dog out for a five mile hike twice a day, and get out into the Peaks, that’ll make you feel better.
