If she actually tried to claim she wasn't served, it wouldn't even matter whether she actually got it at this point. It just establishes her bad faith, a good state of mind when you want to prove someone acts with malice. She's legally served regardless. She'd just be lying in vain. The process server has done everything legally required to accomplish service so she can lie all she likes. She still has to file an answer on time or automatically lose by default.

I replied to the other one, but as others have said as well when someone brings this course of action up, it doesn't matter how she screams and gnashes her teeth about not being served. She has been served by a sworn officer of the court as far as it is concerned. The clock is ticking.

I used to have a few of these thick nails with a weird tip on them like a handle. They looked like little swords and you felt like Martin Luther nailing one in.

I think Jaime Marchi is quite the crazy bitch that she'd be drifting place to place just to evade that notice. I can picture her trying to go to another country just to evade it if she really is dumber than I have previously thought.

Fair enough, that's a good point. Since she lives in Texas I assume she flew to Canadia, so I assume her car will still be at home, maybe carefully attach the notice to the driver's door of that instead? I mean, it's still a front door, and after this lawsuit bankrupts her the car will probably be her abode...

I'm going to laugh if she attempted to destroy the papers to delay the process. "Oh, it was storming outside? These papers aren't legible so CLEARLY it's not the serving papers intended to me!"

If only the police can show up with the serving attendant just to give her a heart attack.
