Apparently ANN is ignoring him, yet they still don't give a shit if they flagged him.
He even told everyone his depute with ANN on his status post on YouTube and asking people if they will follow him on Twitch since he will be streaming there:

Seems like a good time to remind people Anime News Network once tried to get into the streaming anime business like Crunchyroll but they royally fucked up and because of their shitty website design leaked episodes of Oreimo before the Japanese air dates and got such shit for it by the Japanese company. The kicker was it was their FIRST SIMULCAST. They fucked up right out the gate. They didn't last very long in the streaming game, obviously.

Here's the article where Christopher MacDonald had to publicly apologize because he's an incompetent webmaster.

Also a weird fucking format where your own site interviews you. "A follow up question from ANN asks..." you mean yourself? God.

For the record, the security exploit they talked about was someone changed the url from like oreimo_episode1.html to oreimo_episode2.html and found the next episode was already uploaded and ready to go. Literally.

Also I was just reminded of this existed, so now you guys have to experience it to. Behold their fanart contest from around the same time.

EDIT: Hold on, they still have a video page. It's not linked on their main page, but a Google search engine still links to it.

Can anyone get these videos to play? It asks me to install Flash and is acting exceptional like you'd expect a video player coded by a sloth to be.

They don't still have all these old shows on their servers do they? They didn't just... delete the link to their video stream from the main page but keep all this stuff on the backend? No. I refuse to believe they're that dumb. They must still have the right to stream these shows or they're not actually there... right? This would be a huge fucking legal issue if they still were offering access to all these shows.

I'll file this under shit that won't age well. I'd love to see their reactions when they get egg on their faces, but not just one egg, multiple.
I can't imagine they'll ever notice nor care. Social justice fucks don't have any form of "I was wrong" in their vocabulary. They'll spend the whole lawsuit gish-galloping their Believe Wahmen mantra. When Vic wins, they'll claim it was a conspiracy/the patriarchy/the republicans/some puerto-rican guy. And anyone who points out how wrong they were will just be blocked/depersoned/deplatformed, and whatever remains goes directly into the memory-hole.

Indeed they ARE that stupid. I just told my browser to allow flash, and here I am watching episode 1 of 07 Ghost.

Are any of the anime on this list any good?

A Certain Magical Index is pretty good.

At this point, at least to me, this much exceptionalism isn't even funny anymore. I'm almost starting to feel bad for these amoeba brained mouth-breathers. Like mocking them at this point just feels like picking on the special needs kid in school. Sure, listening to his autistic screech was funny here and there, but now it's gotten to the point of "Are you done? No? Still going to screech then I mean, okay I guess."

And somehow I'm not surprised in the least.

Index and Afro Samurai are pretty good. Raildex and the rest have been licensed in the states, both in anime (by Funimation) and the original novels and their manga adaptations. It'd be a shame if ANN got dragged into court and had to explain why they still have copyrighted material after the licenses have been yanked. ANN might as well be playing that eight player minigame from Mario Party 7 where you play hot potato with a live Bob-omb. The mental image of that is nothing but hilarious.

Either the tard wrangler or the kid themselves would've stopped LONG ago.

I've been watching the Momocon Facebook group and there seem to be a number of suspicious "Outrages" being reported. Such as a brand new account joined today claiming that The con was turning away scantily clad fat chicks while allowing nearly naked skinny ones to prance about. Of course this happened to "a friend" and it was "reported to authorities!!!" with no actual witnesses or evidence. Also a number of questionable troons and costhots reporting their asses being slapped (oh noes! Muh Sectualz Asalted!)

From what I can gather from on the ground reports regarding the individual "harassing" Monica Rial, it was a polite dude who asked a question about the lawsuit. Monica brushed him off and didn't want to talk about THAT, No confrontations, no chimpouts and nobody was thrown out by security.

In this lawsuit we already see the defendants seeing who gets to throw the others under the bus first (with Funimation being in the best position to do so). It's every man for herself in court. I doubt anything that happens to ANN would play out any differently.

I'm trying to count how many titles ANN has on that video server, but I'm just losing it, I think there's no less than 500 titles on there. They seriously had the "rights" to all of this at some point or another?

I got up to like ~450 titles on there, was trying hard not to count the sub and dub versions twice, and I wasn't sure whether to count a second season of the series (such as Squid Girl) as one or count it separately. They're all playable through a Crunchyroll video or as a "courtesy of: [company] (via Hulu)".

Just incredible.

ANN is shady? Quelle surprise. Founded by a guy who sucks cock for a living and whose members include a woman who literally sucked cock to get the job and later tried growing a cock to escape from her shady as fuck past and upbringing who later dated the guy whose cock she sucked although apparently said cock wasn't enough for her so they broke up and he is all emo now.

Cock.

You're watching 07 Ghost courtesy of Crunchyroll. It's an embed.
I think the reason everybody is 🤔 is that ANN apparently doesn't have their video section visible from the main-site. And this is after leaking an unreleased episode with a simple URL modification. So it's entirely likely that portion of the site is still up unintentionally.
