I can actually use Hulk Hogan as a reference in this!

So...around 2012 Gawker released a sex tape of Hulk Hogan that was about 6 years old at the time. Mind you, Hulk hadn't had work with the WWE or TNA for some time in 2014-2015, but WWE brought him back for special appearances and as a host and judge for "Tough Enough", a reality show where they're training people to be wrestlers. Gawker then releases another video where Hogan says "fucking niggers". He is promptly fired from WWE and removed from their Hall of Fame. Removal from the Hall of Fame also negates any WWE Legend contract for any appearance fees. Hogan also had all products with his name removed or removed entirely from shelves. If it wasn't for the lawsuit, Hogan likely would have been bankrupt.

Hogan was rehired by WWE in 2018 after it took Saudi Prince Salman al-Saud requesting his return for a wrestling show (Crown Jewel) and WWE getting a truckload of cash for his appearance from the Saudi government. Fun fact: al-Saud also wanted wrestlers like Yokozuna and Ultimate Warrior to appear, despite the fact that they both had died.

It took three years, millions of dollars, and a fucking HEAD OF STATE to get Hogan a job back in WWE.

Is Salman al-Saud also a huge weeb? If not, it might be quite difficult for Vic to get work in the industry from here on.

Yeah, it's the same with Johnny Depp after his abuse charge. I've said it before on the thread, you've got cucks and SJWs like Mother's Basement who talked shit about Depp online, but not a squeak out of them when it was revealed his wife might've been the abusive one.

So end of the day, the only thing we can do for Vic is give him a buttload of money and a statement from a judge and some detractors saying that they made defamatory statements about him and lied about certain events. It doesn't guarantee him work or anything anymore (unless they include it as a stipulation should Funimation and RT lose or settle) which is just sad.

What's even worse is that we can't petition for them to cast Vic in a role (unless he's already played it before or Toei tells them to recast him eg. Broly) as they can always use the blanket excuse that Vic isn't the right feel/voice they want for the character. I believe it takes a while before these kinds of VAs get work again. (Think @Null mentioned a similar case involving Damian Mills and the old Pokemon James VA during his stream with Nick)

If Vic wins I just know these speds are going to fight/appeal the judgement.

Would they have to put up the full amount of the judgment in escrow in order to appeal thou? That's what did Gawker in, and the only one of the parties with access to that kind of money is Funimation. I'm not sure if this is the case in Texas, but let's hope so.

They always do. But it won't change the fact that they don't have any evidence against him.

Just because you appeal doesn't mean the appellate court has to listen to you. There actually needs to be a well thought out legal or procedural dispute with the ruling, or a novel procedural/constitutional question. If they don't have that they will just get a "lol no" from the appeals court.

Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure said:
24.2. Amount of Bond, Deposit, or Security
(a) Type of Judgment.
(1) For Recovery of Money. When the judgment is for money, the amount of the bond, deposit, or security must equal the sum of compensatory damages awarded in the judgment, interest for the estimated duration of the appeal, and costs awarded in the judgment. But the amount must not exceed the lesser of:
(A) 50 percent of the judgment debtor's current net worth; or
(B) 25 million dollars.

I'd bet the $25 million maximum is after Pennzoil v. Texaco, which bankrupted Texaco after they couldn't put up a bond for a titanic $10.53 billion judgment at the hands of legendary Texas trial lawyer Joe Jamail. They don't want big companies going out of existence because of a civil judgment. But if you're only worth a measly few million dollars, fuck you.

Yes. US Dubbing is in three cliques -- the LA clique, the Texas clique, and the NYC clique. IIRC there's also an Ireland / UK clique.

The Texas clique is 100% pure cancer. The other two have remained fairly silent on this, probably because they don't want to be splashed by tard cum if they are caught defying the thots.
I'd argue that the Texas clique had two sub cliques: Dallas (Funimation) and Houston (Sentai). While there's cross pollination between the two in terms of VAs, they don't share wiring and directing as far as I know. Monica and Jamie write and direct for Funi, but only act at Sentai, for example.

Which companies are based in new york? I don't usually pay too much attention to localization/dub industry unless it pisses me off.
I think it speaks to the gravity of how shitty of companies funi and RT are that there's a sanfran/LA wing of their industry, and they're still astronomically worse.

The thing is though Hogan actually did what he was fired for. As shitty and hypocritical as it was that he got fired over a leaked private conversation he did actually say some pretty racist shit.

Vic got fired over a bullshit whisper campaign that refuses to even produce a shred of credible evidence because Funimation/Sony are staffed by incompetent idiots. Which is why his lawyer currently has them all facing the barrel of a shotgun.

Monica's Q&A "incident" looks to be completely false that there was a scene as seen earlier in the thread with my post of a tweet from a first hand account by the tweeter, the question was asked, no one was escorted out and nothing else happened on her's.

Wouldn't be the first time Monica told a bullshit story where all of the details are eerily similar to someone else's story.

Just because you appeal doesn't mean the appellate court has to listen to you. There actually needs to be a well thought out legal or procedural dispute with the ruling, or a novel procedural/constitutional question.

Considering what Casey has submitted so far, I don't know if there's any actual risk of that.

You got a source for this?
I don't remember where I heard this from but it was pretty veritable. I'll look around to see if I can find it again

Finally managed to find where I'd heard it from

Check around 7:28. As for the actual interview, I'll have to look for it. But this interview is probably going to be over 2 years ago so it's going to be difficult to pin down.

Look at the ratio and comments.

Yeah, but the fact that Google is promoting these things is further proof of Google being full of SJWs or people trying to push false narratives. I wonder if this happens to everyone or just people they notice have interacted with Vic posts.

Start switching to alternative services guys, they're watching every move you make.

I'll say this: They made it public and then wanted it to just as quickly vanish when they got their way, I don't see the difference between telling some one to their face that they're full of shit or sitting here saying the exact same thing. They've left a black mark on a man's career for what seems to be petty and cuntish reasons, if some one wants to remind them of that every time they go to a con I'd say that's fair game.
Yep. They inserted themselves in middle of very public and heated debate, and they loosing this debate because they mostly full of shit.
They've made this bed, now lie on it

Well isn't this the pot calling the kettle black.
Seeing these dumb whores shit on their meal tickets will never cease to amuse me.

Better enjoy those Patreon cosplay shoots while you can before age hits you like a freight train in 5-10 years and the weebs move on to a younger piece of plastic ass.

I wouldn't be Suprised after this ordeal (If He Wins) he moves back to LA
From what I recall of the con I saw Vic at he actually mentioned not liking it in LA and wanting to move to the city where the con was at, which wasn't Texas but is still closer to Texas than LA.

Anybody know if Emosh ever released that video footage he supposedly had of her?
Nah, he never did. There was a reason but I forget what it was, I think it was mentioned on one of Nick's streams with him.

Look at the ratio and comments.

Exactly!

Those sad excuses for "memes," the KickVic "memes," are all uploaded by one user - the tard that is called vit.
If you look through vit's posts, he's clearly a troll or exceptional (or both).

To all Kiwis, if you see an obvious KickVic "meme" in the image gallery on Know Your Meme, please check who uploaded it.
It's probably going to be that vit faggot.
Most of the comments and those who have uploaded images regarding this situation are not KickVic.
