The thing about VAs is that they're just actors, only they don't have to be attractive-looking. Nearly anyone can read a line. A fair number of people can do it well, or at least passably. Funimation could hold a public audition at any time and get hundreds of weebs, at least a few of whom are going to actually be good. There are reasons VAs never got much respect as a profession. Replacing every last VA in their employ isn't a matter of "if", it's a matter of whether or not they have the will.
