I was thinking more along the lines of something like this:

The Basics:
Munchausen's Syndrome is a psychiatric disorder listed in the DSM. The disease causes the sufferer to draw attention or reassurance to themselves (whether this effort is conscious or not on the part of the sufferer is still debatable). It is named after the fictional character (who was loosely based n a real person) Baron Munchausen, who would frequently tell tall tales of his own struggles in life.
There are a couple of subcategories. These are "Munchausen's by Proxy" and "Munchausen's by Internet". This thread will focus on communities built by and for people who have this and asspat each other in online circlejerks instead of getting actual mental/medical help for the root of their issues.

It’s going to be hysterical if they redo a gastric emptying on her and say, “Oh, you don’t need a tube anymore.” You would think they would have it dialed in so that patients don’t have obesity. im not sure if im remembering correctly and because illnessfakers does a 1984 when cows step forward but i believe that robyn brown did come forward at one point to do a tiny ama that addressed the fact she knew she was a munchie and that she was actively working on it with therapy. i wish i could back it up with some kind of proof, but she had addressed stuff like buying all splints and slings and whatnot online as well as fucking with that abdominal(?) surgery site to aggravate it. i can really try to dig to find it,

I'm not familiar with Robyn Brown, she was in the original post 45 I just slotted her in alphabetically to KateFarmsShill's list. I personally disagree with illnessfakers backtracking on munchies they post about but that is my own opinion and why I read here rather than there. If we don't DFE after a cow dies I don't think we should do that after they stop being a cow. We could mark them retired or something like that the way accounts are marked inactive. Again if anyone has suggestions I am happy to take them.

I'm working on fleshing out bios in the list and linking names to their more extensive rundowns and "greatest hits". But as you pointed out there's a fucking lot of them and it's going to take a minute.
Robyn came out on the old /snow/ threads at one point and said she was working on her OTT behavior in therapy and not returning to social media. If she has, no one has found her yet. She wasn't good with hiding out from prying eyes so I'm guessing she actually did get help and at the very least took her bullshit offline. She got out before she was too entrenched though. I never thought she was quite the munchie queen the other farmers did. She never had anything done to her except reconstructive surgery on her ear to fix a birth defect. It's not like the current crop who will have permanent damage to their bodies if they stop now (except Amanda/Ren who has yet to munch her way to the operating table). Robyn could have taken off her braces, gotten therapy, and been done with it.
They are all connected through living in/near Orlando at around the same time but Orlando is a huge, sprawling city and a lot of these girls never showed any connection. I suppose they could be friends with the whole Orlando munchie crew. But like, receipts? Show where someone connected to Jaquie enough to fly to Tampa to be in the hospital said she was taken off life support. I still am not sure she was ever on it but at least we'll know someone there misunderstood the situation, not just some attention-seeker made up a story to seem important-er.

but in all honesty even if they came forward with better details that could prove something, the sub would collectively scream DOXXX and declare them anathema which is a shame if they only want to use reddit to prove or disprove something. i would be willing to give them a chance if they could prove it.

It did occur to me that the reason IF resddit tries to canonize dead munchies is because they are no longer a threat to getting more attention than the munchies posting in IF. Sometimes I wonder if any of these girls even get a emptying scan. Wouldn’t it be pretty obvious they don’t need a tube at the scan?
Or is it that they have one and starve themselves and lose weight so despite the normal digestion motility they give a tube anyway?

Jaquie got two GES scans, both at Mayo-Jacksonville. One in 2014 and one in August 2016. The first one was normal for solids and liquids. The second was borderline delayed for solids with 14% retained after 4 hours (delayed is anything above 10%). That was after she began using medications that are known to slow digestion. The first one they diagnosed her with cyclical vomiting, the second one decreased gastric accommodation and rumination. Both times she was told point-blank she didn't have gastroparesis.
Dani also had it twice at Temple's motility center and was normal for liquids, delayed for solids. I used to know what percentage it was for solids but I think it was in the moderate range, enough to cause symptoms but not enough that it couldn't be managed with diet.
As for faking the test: regular starvation and purging can slow the fuck out of your digestion which most of these girls do. In addition anticholinergic drugs delay gastric emptying. These include several easily available OTC drugs and many prescription-only drugs they can get their hands on.
EDIT: I also heard of at least one person dx'd GP because they had residual food in their stomach during an endoscopy. Since they were complaining of vomiting, nausea, pain on eating and swore they had fasted the whole 12 hours before the procedure, they got slapped with the diagnosis. Not sure as to whether they ate food before the procedure intentionally to have it in their stomachs or if the GI can tell the difference between well-chewed food they just ate and food that's been hanging around for a bit. This person is a bit of a malingerer so i wouldn't put it past them.

She posted pictures of protein Shakes to keep calories up (lol). I assume would this would be consumed orally so if they were prescribed (hmm?) surely doc knew she could eat? I would be interested to see if they pull her tube what will happen next. I can already imagine the lulzy selfies of her proclaiming she is starving. Is there any medical benefit to knowing how much someone vomits down to the milliliter? I had assumed that frequency and content (if there is blood etc) was important not volume.

Holy shit, Jan rambles narcissistically for over 15 minutes, like 1/4 of the service about HERSELF and how she needs to edit out her references to Jaq doing her homework and then talks about Judd crying. She is a piece of shit. At one point she talks about how she is “antisocial” and I can’t help but wonder if that’s her actual diagnosis based on this.
