As many of you know the god emperor was in Japan this weekend and as part of the tour he attended the final day of the spring grand sumo tournament. The final matches were being broadcast live so I managed to watch them and security was heavy, cops and secret service all over the place.
They stopped serving drinks on the day and all vending machines we’re taped shut presumably to stop some wild danger hair throwing a fit.

So it comes time for trump and abe to enter the hall only for both to get a standing ovation from the entire crowd. He even presented the new trophy without issue but there was a protest all be it a really pathetic one near by

One thing that is abundantly clear though given how fucking anaemic that "crime list" was, is that Trump is probably unironically the best president in atleast a generation by sheer virtue of there not being any of the unforgivable fuckups his predecessors committed at this point during their tenure.

Bush Senior's blunders and deceit in his first/only term led to the first Iraq war and subsequent geopolitical fuckups setting the middle east on fire, not to mention amping up the War on Drugs

Clinton during his first term botched Somalia and went out of his way to ignore and enable one of the worst genocides in human history, not to mention shit like Waco and Ruby Ridge

Dubya....yeah no need going in to detail here about his first term

Obama during his first term set the middle east on fire again, double-fucked the economy while it was still reeling from Dubya, and thats before we get to the fucking healthcare debacle

Trump's first term has been positively fucking boring from a national and geopolitical standpoint given how chill shit has been internationally compared to the fuckups and scumbaggery of these four predecessors.

From what I understand Abe is relatively well liked at the moment in Japan and he's formed a pretty good friendship with Trump, I think Abe was one of the first, if not the first, world leader to actually begin meeting with Trump after he won the election in order to strengthen American/Japanese relations and probably hoping to score some good trade deals with him, he even visited him at Trump Tower in New York.

But since Abe is liked in Japan and him and Trump are close, that connection makes the Japanese people tend to view Trump in a much more positive light. Japan in general though will almost always choose to side with America in geo-political matters, we beat them and then helped rebuild them and even played a heavy hand in the creation of their modern government so while the Japanese in general are relatively xenophobic they do have a certain level of respect and appreciation for the United States.

Foreigners are often deeply overinvested in the United States. This is most likely because of their own feelings of deep inadequacy and shame when thinking of their own nations. Any time they spend criticizing the States is time they don't have to spend curled up in a ball because of what shitholes their own countries are.

Good lord these people are exceptionally exceptional. How is it even possible to be so damn out of touch and oblivious?

This person really thinks NFL anthem protests are an issue that matter to most people? Not immigration? Not health care? Not the economy? But rather kneeling before a football game? Are they serious?
